Why we dont have more Bwonsamdi?

I loves that character…Voice,jokes everything about this character…why we dont have much more of him ?

Replace all spirit healers with Bwonsamdi. If you die, you deserve to be mocked by De Loa of Death.

Well he was introduced in Battle for Azeroth as mostly a villain to be dealt with. But then players loved the character so much that Blizzard shoe-horned him into a role that was probably intended for Vol’jin – which then resulted in his character arc getting screwed up.

And then Blizzard didn’t really execute on their initial plans for Shadowlands and had to re-do just about the entire narrative, which resulted in everything regarding Bwonsamdi to be cut short.

So now he’s just sort of there, but without any real purpose in the story.

And then Steve Danuser left the company and Metzen came back, and so far Metzen seems to have taken the approach of pretending that Shadowlands (and to some degree Dragonflight) doesn’t exist, and has avoided any plotlines that stem from there.

So we don’t have more Bwonsamdi because Blizzard can’t tell a straight story even if their lives depended on it. :upside_down_face:

The fact that he was trying so hard to overwrite someone else’s legacy and trying to make it his own, his leaving is probably the best thing that could have happened for the lore and the game.

He should have just worked with what was there and tried to be better.

His working with what his got but either way its going to take a miracle to pull it together let alone pull it off.
