Why were bfa trinkets so boring?

I was first time see shadow priest had “summons” skeleton dinos for fight.

Thinked it was trinkets or some from?

For the most part I agree. However i love my blood swirl healing trinket so much. Its going to feel like being pruned come shadowlands. And ot worka so well with monk renewing mist and font.

There are a couple of cool ones but I do agree thesw are cooler but also more annoying. And this also makes me tjing, what happened to useable gear. Ill always remember he useable gnomeregon helmet I got

Yeah i like that one

Shame its a wq trinket with balls low ilevel

Idk, Dragonscale and Mechagon bike are super cool.

Dragonscale is meh & bike …

trinket design has been in the dumpster for a long time. The last interesting, interactive trinket, was in MOP if you exclude the CD reduction trinket from Nighthold. Honestly, they should just make trinket awesome, sought after, etc. again. I remember Deathbringer’s Will from ICC, honest to god, I believe that’s the most ninjaed item in the history of the game. No other item could make a master looter loot and HS faster than that.

Because bfa was boring. I think that’s pretty obvious.

I liked the ones from last WoD raid and also the haste one from Gul’dan.

I quite like the one from Drustvar that makes a toy elephant fall on mobs…
I dont even care that much about the stats, just love that dumbo drop!

What we really need is some way to make the ilvl/stat apply to the slot rather then the trinket so you can put whatever trinket you want on.

I can give people so big hastebuffs with my 370 mr munchkins if this was the case! :o

You’ve seen those wings, dude?

A bike going towards you at 69kmph and then exploding to do big boi damage is awesome.

Who cares about Withered Jim trinket or Highfather’s Machination when you have trinkets that have a proper visual effect, that also coressponds to their power.

how is haste with ms buff trinket more interesting than inkpod or font? Most of the trinkets you listed are utterly useless.

I disagree. BFA trinkets innovated in a way.
Ashvane trinket is something never seen before - stacking up a buff and leaving the proc activation in player hands. There is some rng involved with how fast you gain the stacks, but the effect is entirely in your control.

Ra’Den trinket also provides a buff to party members, that’s also unique.

If anything, WOD had the most boring trinkets except for the soul fragment. Many BIS ones were just plain stat sticks. +500 agi +500 mastery +500 crit. Wow so unique.

I haven’t really had a problem with the trinkets in BfA. The only one I disliked was the one from CoS because it used to try to kill me so I had to use a defensive to mitigate that and wouldn’t be able to use it for anything else.

On the other hand I’m just a sheep that goes and farms what is best.

But they are more fun

This isn’t an elitist ‘‘Whats best is what matters’’ thread

Fair enough!

elitist mmm my favourite word

Complain about this, and proceed with a list of items that are basically shields, or mana regen.

And oh, a movement speed one, wow so unique.

Yes, this is more of a personal thing, and wouldn’t really say its a complaint, its more of a ‘‘am i crazy, or is this just me?’’ thread

From the responses i can say, yes, yes it is just me x)

dont renember the elisade trinket with cd reducion proc? or guldans draught of souls? or then antorus argus trinkets?
Or kiljeaends burning wish legendary trinket

They shluld introduce more class/spec specifics trinkets, but since we have traits or legendaries, along with essences a guess they wont.

But even those “basic” ones, like urchin for tanks, it has no visuals, yet i loved it. Same for inpods.

Moto/drest are nice visials and fun to use too.

Sporepods are interesting but kinda meh.

Jes howler is nice as it boost whole party.

Radiance(?) / carapace are also interesting as they require more/less people to work properly
