Please Blizzard explain this to me, I beg you.

Why can I be a Werewolf casting healing spells in resto spec and not a Werewolf using my claws in feral combat as dps.

This is just insane in a level beyond imagination.

Yea because the very first thing that comes to mind when people fantasize playing a werewolf is to be a magic user casting healing or other spells while wearing a dress, not using the claws and fangs to rip and maim their preys…

Seriously nobody inside Blizzard has never speak about this in a regular brainstorm?.
It amazes me so much It blows my mind.

How can you have a playable werewolf in your game and don’t allow It to use their claws in combat but are totally ok with them healing in a dress?.

Meanwhile Genn uses his claws in every cinematic.

Honestly… fair. Worgen beast forms could be bipedal hulk modes rather than the classic quadrupeds.

The bizzare thing is that Worgen is a druid form in itself.

I guess it could be a bit confusing to see worgen use cat abilities without transformation but otherwise it makes perfect sense.

Would only really be a niche issue in pvp (mage’s poly or hunter’s “fear beast” trying to CC the worgen but without being able to confirm visually whether they’ll be immune or not) but an issue nonetheless.

I really hope they are looking into this. They must be preparing racial class customizations for a future expansion (maybe not next, but hopefully 1 day) where they give certain melee Worgen classes a claw cosmetic option to choose when fighting.

I’m not saying using feral abilities by default, I’m just saying using worgen model as feral form.

It still must use the shapesifting skill before, and you can see it perfectly in their Buffs.

Also nowadays with the barber rework It has never been easier, just allow worgen form in the cat form selection menu.

Oh yeah I understood that clearly.

But if a Hunter see you in worgen form while using cat abilities he’ll think twice before using his fear.

In the same way if a Mage see you running around in Worgen form he’ll think you don’t use any druid form and poly you despite it not working on the druid forms iirc.

Sure the information is there in the buffs, but the visuals are very important too. Especially if these abilities are cast by hovering your mouse on your target.

Once again not game breaking, but an issue notheless imo. Not that it can’t be fixed of course.

Same was said ad infinitum about werebear and people “not able to know the druid real spec”…like there is no other way to see it.

And what happened? Nothing.
Just people who enjoy their druid are allowed to enjoy it more cause they have the choice to decide how their character looks.

Make people happy and they will be playing your game.

This makes no sense as u can use noggenfogger anyway and ppl are clueless I do it as tank so I ain’t a crapy bear cause I didn’t do mage tower XD

I mean there’s a difference between a different form and not changing your appearance at all.

But you seem oddly defensive about my reply. You realize that I’m not arguing against you, right ? Merely voicing a concern of what could be an issue.

I’m fairly sure you can’t use it in rated PvP which is where most of the complains I expect will come from.

Nah, I’m pretty calm don’t worry, nothing against you neither deffensive.

In fact I surpassed the angry mood with Blizzard long algo… Now is more like a permanent /facepalm with a bit of a sad smile.

Worgen druids should be able to use worgen form as a cat form.

In the lore a wolf form exists for druids, the drawback is that the user loses all common sense and just begins attacking and killing everything with no thought behind their actions?

Ye they can do a unique new model of worgen in armor as a CAT form
that would be good
Something like that WOD talent or whatever it was
That was kind a COOL back in wod when feral was a KITTY but on 2 legs

Worgen Monks, when? I mean Undeads can be a damn monk, why can’t worgens because of the “curse” it’s BS idc what people say, it makes no sense to me, some forsakens in their “lore” are dumber than a freaking peon.
