Really?

Have you seen the amount of space you can explore on wow? A game of this size needs space.

The patcher is broken. If you can delete the data folder and let it redownload it.

Mine is 68GB. Time for another patch day reinstall. /sigh

Legion had 45GB so they add a lot of stuff in BfA looks a like xD

I’m in the process of re downloading it now. I’ll update when finished.

Edit: 53.1 GB in total with a fresh install + my addons.

How much of that is your interface and wtf folders though?

According to wowhead its ok 0.o

280MB. The patcher has been broke since legion prepatch.

I did a reinstall and I’m at 53GB. That’s for patching ans installation.

Ty man im gona reinstal it also.

Let us know how big the installation is.

It’s idiotic. Wow is the only game I have on my 100 GB SSD along with windows, and the only way to get the new patch is to delete the whole game and install it elsewhere.

Many people on the US forums have suggested the same.

The clean up that battle.net does isn’t functioning since I believe it accidentally deleted files that were needed, so it was disabled.

You can manually delete the data folder and do a scan and repair, and the game will download fresh with ONLY the required files.

This is likely to regain on average 15-20Gb of space depending on how recent your install is.

I did wonder why my folder seemed larger than usual, only noticed before I saw this topic. Saved space is saved space, I’ll give a reinstall a go, not that it’s a major issue but can’t harm.

69.4GB for mine, but on a 500GB SSD I can’t grumble.

Update,

I did a fresh reinstall simply to clear it up, the full install of mine is now 53Gb. You don’t even need to reset your interface/addons to do this either. Read up in this thread.

I regained 18Gb of storage, so for those that are short of space or just wanted to clean things up, a fresh reinstall will do the trick (if you haven’t did one since the start of Legion).

lol mine went up to 85gb, had to move my 10gb (don’t judge me) screenshots folder to another drive. guess i’ll eventually have to reinstall.

WoW is one of the games I dont take much Screenshots. It’s so poor for screenshot features. FF14 and Black desert I have hundreds or screenshots.

your movie folder is only 70 GB?

my movie folder is almost 2TB :joy:

well with 9,992 screenshots as of right now, I wish I felt the same!
but I guess the art team can take pride on the fact that some weirdo has taken more ss’s on their game than they have on modded skyrim or any fancy graphics game out there :joy:
