Wild Spirits

I note that other group members in instances cannot see the ground area for Wild Spirits. Often tanks will move mobs out of this without knowing as they can’t see it.

However, a group member could see the whole thing outdoors in The Maw.

Anyone else similar? I assume this is unintended?

I asked some people today. They couldn’t see my wild spirits ground effect in dungeons, but could see it in the Maw and Torghast.

i’m not sure how they should fix this. right now they just can’t show everyone’s covenant abilities going off, as some of the animations would causes too much visual clutter.

also imagine the fps drops in raids if 10 or more players use wild spirits at the same time. press F for the melee player who had to stand inside that light show.

they could make some toned down effects for other players i guess. perhaps just a discreet blue circle in case of wild spirits. just enough so ppl can see where the effect is.

Yeah completely fair points there. Blizzard have made abilities in the past that look like simpler versions for other players so that’s a good solution you suggest.

Especially the NF ones, they are way too bright and in-your-face. I hate playing with NF mages because it’s an absolute eye-sore like we’re playing some eastern F2P mmo.

What’s bizarre is Resonating Arrow is far more visually disturbing than a Warrior’s NCL banner, yet the circle around the NCL banner isn’t visible to others
