Wild Spirits

they will add soon Crafter’s Mark III whats someting 228 so pitless with 180 gear

No, the mastery bonus from niya was nowhere even close to 45%

The change is a slightly tiny damage reduction, almost negligible and not even worth thinking about.

Hehe. Yes it is. You are confusing the damage % that mastery gives when you mouse over it with the actual mastery %.

The mastery % has not changed. It’s the actual damage buff from that mastery that has.

And you are horrendously wrong with just how much damage 400 mastery is. 400 mastery = ~27% damage on WS. Double that is 54%. Idk where you pulled 90% from.

MM mastery is caped at 80% so u have to stack Ver when u hit 80% mastery …

When I pop WS I get 45% dmg from mastery. Double that is 90%.

Why not just indicate it to tanks with a Blue line (well, circle) indicating the AOE? Doesn’t have to show ALL the damn graphics (it’s obnoxious even for us hunters), but at least an indication where it is.

i am a Night fea i live in a blue world …

try

/y Wild Spirits down, do not move the mobs

or just binding shot them first, just a waste of a global, but if your tanks are that erratic, then this might be what you need.

Yeah, I can set up a macro, the point tho is that it’s not working correctly. I can see any other class’ similar spell effect, but ppl can’t see mine - bug.

But back on the macro note - any idea how to add a raid marker to a macro? I want to put down a big red X when I place WS.

It is not a bug it’s working as intended. The reason other’s can’t see it is that it can literally hide some ground effects, and since you always throw it in melee, then for the 10-15 seconds it’s up, they can’t see stuff on the ground, as opposed to most of the other visible covenant abilities, that either don’t block your vision that much, are usually away from melee or last for such a short time.

/cast [@cursor] Wild Spirits

When you click this it should put a world marker X where your cursor is and drop wild spirits so it’s center is exactly that world marker.

I thought it was just that the tanks that hated me and moved the trash out of my Wild Spirits =/

The tanks still see the circle for a few seconds. Unfortunately most are oblivious clowns that like to move bosses to China for no apparent reason. I suggest shouting expletives at them.

Not a valid point imo, since other classes’ Night Fae abilities have similar visuals (e.g. shaman) and they are also visible. Also, take Frozen or for example, for others it’s a bit more transparent/less dense than for the Mage who casts it. same with Blizzard or Rain of Fire, etc. This is definitely NOT intended, nor is it acceptable as it makes a powerful ability useless on many occasions. Blizz should fix it and work out a toned down, less distracting visual that appears for others - the same way all other area effects work.

Day 3503503, Blizzard still hasn’t made it so it’s visible in dungeons(m+). Tanks constantly moving when you pop all your cd’s feels just sad.

Yes! This! I get so frustrated when I cast it and a millisecond later the group of mobs get tanked out of it. I’ve noticed that if a druid has cast Efflorescence (the AOE heal with the green circle) then it takes priority for visibility to the tank - probably because the tank can benefit from heals. (I play DPS, my other half plays tank on the computer next to me.) The mobs affected Wild Spirits do have he blue arrow debuff, but that’s not the same as having the circle on the floor.

You use the strongest ability in the game and still complaining, I can’t understand you people…seriously

In an empty zone, wild spirits literally kills my fps down to low two-digit number if I put particle density any higher than the 2nd lowest setting. It just seems terribly optimised. I’m able to get 60ish FPS in raids but some silly things such as the ice graphic from Legion (that one elite in Stormheim) and the slime effect from the trash before first Plaguefall boss turns the game into a powerpoint presentation.

There was also this shadow effect during the azerite neck questline where you had to close some portals while fighting void monsters. It started out as a minor inconvenience but the longer it took you to complete the objective, graphics would flood the room and the game would progressively become less playable.

There is a setting that controls visibility levels of spells from other players but it doesn’t seem to be working properly with some of the newer abilities.
