Wild Spirits

Hello,
currently Night Fae Hunter ability:Wild Spirits is not visible to anyone but the hunter. It makes it impossible to play in pugs since the tank has no idea where it is and always moves. The ability Wild Spirits should be visible to at least the tank of the group.

Is this for everyone? Test with a friend maybe? Check to make sure they have the graphics options on as you can have “essential only” and alot of people raiding use that so it’s not too cluttered on screen maybe we can provide better feedback here :slight_smile:

From what i have seen u can see the effect it in the open world but in dungeons u can only see the hunters mark wild spirits applies on enemies and not the ground effect.

probably made like that becuse in raids if you happen to have 2-3 hunters it would lagg like mad for anyone whit not a top end computer.
combine wildspirits mega big blue circle whit the effect, and then put in everyone elses skills in the mix and you have a rainbow party in raids.

This is a great point look at corruptions for example that was heavy and lagged a lot looks like they learned their lesson

This is nuts. The skill is useless like this. Tanks constantly pull groups out of it because they don’t see the spell at all.
None of the above points are valid imo - you can see a Mage’s Frozen orb, or Warlock’s Rain of Fire, too. The group should be aware when this is activated, else it fails 70% of the time, making progress with this covenant quite worthless. Fix?

In World PvP when i face Night Fae hunter i currently see the AoE and the stellar beam when it proc.

Maybe try to regroup where you don’t see it, maybe the grounds does not show the AoE on certain dungeons.

Is there a particular zone or Dungeons that you don’t see Wild Spirit AoE ?

It’s visible to others outside of dungeons, but not inside.

Another lack of an ability added to the blizzard’s never ending fix list.

On tank pull I use binding shot, forces the tank to tank them on that spot then. I then Drop volley and Wild spirits

Haha I’ve done this before I got shouted at I replied with wi pick a place to tank and stop being a grass hopper and I can spec out of it lol

Easy way to give the tank heads up is just macro /p or /y for wild spirits >.> dont make a big deal about it. Or just be sneaky and use binding shot to lock the mobs in place.

This is exactly what I do is Misdirect and binding shot when tank has gathered mobs and then drop WS and Volley to maximise damge.

Wild Spirits got buffed again with 24% for MM hunters …

It got a much bigger nerf than it got buffed. WS essentially got a 20-25% nerf overall for MM.

we will see how strong they are in some 9.3.0 when we have ilvl 330 and loads of seconery stats :stuck_out_tongue:
prpbly going to have 80% mastery 60% ver or something whats a 140% damage increseit self .

Dude, did u read the post from Bliz? They cut the damage from mastery on WS in half. And since we get a 400 mastery buff while we use WS we go to something like 45% extra damage to WS while it is active. That was not working correctly, so we were getting like 90% extra damage instead. That was cut in half (like it should) and replaced with 25% buff.

So, 20-25% nerf to WS. Rightly so I might add.

But MM is still gonna be strong. Just not 20k burst at 181 IL strong.

180 ? ur ment to get ilvl 220 already
