Hey guys, just wondering if there is any point to keep the honor that I farmed on phase 1 for phase 2. I can’t find a clear answer anywhere if the honor would be reset on release phase 2. Does anyone know how that would work?

arena points will be converted do honor at ratio 1 to 10, what kinda indicate that we will keep honor and marks
however like some people will tell in originall tbc arena points were not convertend and we even keep thous for next sesons
so atm you can farm honor and marks for next seson off parts, you cant farm ap for next seson main parts

@OP Honor will not reset.
It was announced during tbc arena tournament yesterday. At work atm but im sure you can find the vod for it.

Honor won’t reset and the geniuses at Blizztard HQ decided the original idea of not resetting arena points (like OG TBC) was too good for the players so they’re converting it to honor at 1:10.
Watch out not to hit honor cap though as everything past that will probably be lost.

Looks like some good changes.
Better than the arena points just being lost. Just spend them on the leftover gear you need, that way you won’t overcap on honor then they get converted.
It’s also preferable to letting people hoard the arena points, and just buying 80% of their BiS pieces a couple of days after the release of phase 2.

Just like ppl flaming me for liking teams starting at 1500, and s1-s3 having no rating req. Fuark me for wanting real TBC when they promise TBC right?
Was there any news about will the S1 gear be buyable with honor once S2 is out? As far as I remember wasn’t that the case back in the days or did it come later on ? Just thinking here is there much of point at this late to play arenas to get maybe 1 more S1 item like chest or just take break till S2 and then take a look what’s the reputation honor gear, what’s the honor gains in general etc.
Also other point what was thinking about S1 gear as they mentioned those will be cheaper to buy as well as honor items is there any reason to buy current honor items (just spent 30K few days ago for belt and bracers) or would it be better just grind honor till P2 since we know what the que times and honor gains will be after Wed when same faction “testing” will be set off so there’s not much fun with those extra long ques again whereas now one could easily farm 10K+ honor in 8 hours or so
