Will Fresh also get the XP buff during pre-patch?

I’m wondering if we get the 50% XP buff on Fresh servers until Northrend is opened or is the pre-patch considered Wotlk?

I hope so!! Any clue regarding the launch of these servers?

I hope not.

Edit: I don’t really care actually since I won’t be playing fresh servers unless they make some changes.

Yes, it will also be available on fresh servers during pre-patch.

Yes it will be available, and before some one starts complaining that it will ruin their “immersion” , you can switch it off at any innkeeper.

I don’t really see how a boost to XP in any way affect immersion

It does not, but i have seen a good amount of videos on youtube, with titles in the lines of: “The level boost has ruined classic WTOLK”

Well the BOOST absolutely 100% ruins the immersion but an XP boost so that you level a little faster while playing the actual game doesn’t hurt immersion.

My bad i forgot to specify, the videos were referring to the XP buff/boost or whatever its called. I agree with you on the level boost part.

I’m gonna start Fresh in Wotlk classic but I’m just testing to level right now with the 50% boost and I must say it feels BETTER on the immersion part. I can complete the quests in the zone and feels better and more logical right now (lvl 13).

I donno how it affect dungeon spamming and higher levels though. But it’s just a temporary XP buff and I think that’s reasonable to have at this time.

Compared to actual boosting this is a breath of fresh air.

Not “any innkeeper” - Start-zone Innkeepers are not doing this service. And according to the blue post only Capital city Innkeepers.
I have only found those able to deactivate the buff. Quite funnily the buff is still there, but shows Joyous Journey Experience gains increased by 0 % on mouseover - also for other players
