Will I get banned if I do this?

What if I gave my son permission to do it while I am at work. Technically that is manual. I have never let him on before and he is busting to play it haha. I could tell him he is playing WoW. It might also make him lose interest in it to.

this is the thread you cms are choosing to answer to ?

not a single thread about servers melting with hundreds/thousands of concerned players got blue response but this one did ?

truly magnificent proffesionalism -_-

That’s just racist against red bull/vodka addicts.

Most of us are adults just trying to log in after work.
We pay our money just as folks on other realms do.
If realms can’t handle the amount of active characters they allowed on that realm in the first place, you cannot blame that on the players.

Just install a remote desktop app like Chrome remote desktop and use your phone to log in remotely from work.

If he did it in secret, you’d avoid a ban. But it would be breaking ToS in another way via account sharing. Although harder to detect.

Azal’s idea is the best. Remote desktop from your phone to get you in the queue.

So a hardware bot instead of a software one, yep, that will get you a ban.

thats the dumbest thing I have read the whole month.

before the input signal disperse ban (aka. mboxers must click instead of using broadcasting software), i would suggest using a script that clicks w or something once every 15-25 min (at random) - blizz its totally me im at home studyig etc

something like,

[redacted] i will get very much banned if i post the script won’t i ;d though it is literally as simple as a shutdown -s -t 60 -c hi your wow dead now mon …

thing is idk if blizzard is somehow catching sendkeys now, and am kind of lazy to make a free acc and test it out :d

i have another suggestion for you though, and it is called a cat

Well that’s not very smart, you should always proof read everything you write.

I don’t plan on doing anything that risks my account. My idea is highly impractical anyway.

I just have always been intrigued in law/rule loopholes. I know I’m a big bore and don’t really know why I like it. You can’t be punished for what you think… Yet!

The log in problems shouldn’t be around for much longer anyway. The silver lining I found from it all was that the forum was a lot busier.

Realistically I think the chances of being caught are very slim, especially if you do this in a private zone such as your own garrison. It’s not like Blizzard manually goes around checking what you’re doing in-game, they have way too much to take care of already. If you use a program the chances of being caught are increased, as this might be detected.

That being said, there is always a chance… Do this at your own risk. But personally I wouldn’t lose my nights sleep over it.

They are soulbinded in a real life covenant. Technically, they are one object

Tbh if you do it - you will get away with it.
They don’t have time to catch your hardware bot nor they wanna spend resources until it will become on mass scale.

Wow, some of you are really this shameless I guess. While what he said is certainly bannable, he explained very clearly why would he try to resort for an option like this. The guy couldn’t even play the expansion so far.

And this is your best answer? Atleast have the decency to add the usual ā€œwe’re working on itā€ line. But I guess you’ve stopped having any remorse towards the playerbase altogether.

Just put your char in a RFC type dungeon and leave it there being hit .

Perma hitting & missing

Greetings brochacho. My answer is thusly.
Technically yes IF blizz finds out.

If software on the pc causes a timed based action, its considered botting and yes 100% ban if found by algorythm. If you have say a little unconnected machine that pushes some force downwards like that little drinking bird toy thing and that pushes a key its still bannable but its not gonna be found out tbh

playing on a full server is a meme with crossrealm capabilities etc

Wow, saying that he will be banned for breaking the rules, how shameless.

And that’s somehow makes cheating okay? Should Blizzard also pat him on the head, saying good job?

Working on what? People who decided to play on a heavily overpopulated server screwed themselves over. Like what do you want them to do. Increase server capacity to make it more overpopulated and most likely cause frequent server shutdowns, or transfering people randomly to small population realms? There is literally no solution to this other than waiting until the hype phase is over and everything will be back to normal.

Again, they shouldn’t feel bad when someone comes to the forums to ask if he is allowed to cheat in their game or not. You break the rules, you get banned. Pretty justified answer.

This thread reminds me of the video where an actual robot defeats the ā€œI’m not a robotā€ captcha…
