I played first week of the 9.1 and came back this week so I have no Fort score, and yesterday I got into my first 19, despite not completing it.
I have friends along the way as well but the pug i invited never questioned my score or left.
You might find some bad apples sure that can happen for any reason.
The game is not fun until you have enough gear for it to be enjoyable.
So on a new alt i usually buy maby 1 run/week for 4-6 weeks before i start queue-ing up normally
Whoever says he shouldnāt boost his score more is delusional.
Also, you can push your own key
buying a boost is a cheap way to get KSM and thereās no interesting gameplay for the buyer to be in it
Imo OP you should just keep playing and get them lower keys to +14 level then you can grind out the 15s slowly

Nah, heās just practical. Getting an armor stack does make gearing an alt easier. Of course you could pug that, or run with friends, but getting an armor stack that way, for specific dungeons? Yeah, good luck. If I want to gear an alt, fast, or efficiently, Iāll buy a key, and reduce the amount of RNG I rely on.
This way, I get to the enjoyable parts (pushing) considerably sooner.

It is, though, because you get all the loot. You wonāt be in a situation where changeling drops for someone else, and they need it too. You wonāt be in a situation where youāre leather, and the dungeon drops 3 plate items noone can use.
For a fresh alt in 200 gear, an armor stack will guarantee upgrades. You also get valor, and progress towards the vault to boot.
Yet still this support endless spam of boosters,and then u have ppl doing 4k dps with 244 ilvl
The spam is annoying, indeed. Not that Trade has ever been useful, but the spam is crazy nevertheless. Thankfully, quite easy to combat: /leave 2, or install an addon if you - for some odd reason - still want to be on Trade.
As for people doing 4k dps with 244? Theyāll do that anyway, boost or not, because eventually theyāll bull their way through keys, and get carried in pugs. As the season progresses, that becomes easier and easier. Heck, Iāve seen people pull 4k dps overall with a score of 2.4k, and dozens of 18s timed, and they were in DPS role to boot! (Thatās the single reason Iām never ever inviting a Venthyr boomie unless someone can vouch for them. :P)

The keys are divided into fortified/tyrannical and gives score accordingly.
