Will the alliance ever get Gilneas back?

And? u can get full “Gilneas” citizen transmog from island exp, with transmogable HAT. Hat from worgen starting zone was not transmogable.

I have been saying that in several threads already, Gilneans should get an “uncursed” customization option. Either through a questline that helps you get rid of the curse or by creating a new character who’s not bitten, though the quests would have to be changed a bit for that.

EDIT: Didn’t read your next post, you have the same ideas as me. Cool.

Heritage armor is coming for Gilneans eventually, and worgen just look weird, especially their helmets. Also, Gilneans have unique voice, compared to normal humans.

That’s literally just a Human with a few different voice lines, hardly worthy of an Allied race, especially considering there is zero difference in the model.

You are correct about, Tess, she is not a Worgen, just a normal Human, same with Crowley’s daughter.
You generally don’t see many female Worgen named NPC’s who appear more than once.
Fiona and Celestine are the only two named ones we see more than once.

Oh no I agree. I never had the idea of them being an allied race at all. Perhaps that’s why a couple of people got a bit salty here.

A few minor adjustments to the core race starting story was all I had in mind, same as North by the looks of it.

The second half of that starting story is seeking out a cure and the scythe, two things your character would have no obligation to do if they were not personally affected.

I know, that’s why it would need adjustment.

This was really more of a passing idea in response to another post that now seems to be getting focus fired on for some reason…

Because, honestly, in my opinion it is a bad idea.

Why rework half the worgen starting zone for a few unique voicelines? Just role a Stormwind human and pretend you’re Gilnean, or do you want the normal human model also available for the Tirasians and Forsaken (“just change half/three-quarters of their starting experience!”)

No need to be so sarcastic.

Like I said, it was just a passing idea. I don’t have a table of blueprints sketched out with weeks of thought put into it. It literally just came to me as a cool idea.

God forbid I should mention an idea I had.

I find Gilneas to be very cringe-worthy. Maybe It’s because on my realm there are more Gilneans, Lordaeronian and Void Elves in Stormwind than actual Stormwindians.

You might get rid of those, Arctur, if they make Gilneas an actual Alliance city, since Lordaeronians would be close to Lordaeron and Gilneans will be in Gilneas then

Nope, Stormwind will always be the most popular Alliance RP hub in the game. Boralus is ten times better than Old 2004 Stormwind and yet there is barely any RP over there.

Because of phasing, probably. Maybe.

Then again, what do I know?

Yeah you’re a Gnome, what do you know.

More than someone pretending to be Jaina with a double n

At least I am pretending to be a good and interesting character and not an ugly comic relief race.

Uncursed Gilneans could simply start at lvl 20 like allied races, though they wouldn’t be one, just like golden eyed belves/black eyed nelves aren’t, and you could only make them after completing a quest-line on your main. That wouldn’t be so hard to implement.

You hate me, you hate owls and now you hate gnomes too?!

I was never able to take Arctur, oh sorry “Jainna”, seriously anyway.

If he got his wish there’d only be humans and orcs in this game, no matter that gnomes predate most of his favourite human characters.
