Ok so I saw the new roadmap. Basically all phases are the same; new runes, a new raid, a new “pve pvp event” and increasing the level cap. So I thought phase 1 was an experimental thing to test out if it is even profitable for blizzard to run season of discovery and dev new things for it. Now we have the answer: yes, very.
I expected more from the upcoming phases, like new quests and events, while keeping the spirit of the original game intact. Not just one event and one raid. While I think blizzard is doing some things right, like not adding tauren paladins (thank God for that), it is my opinion that they should deliver more in the next phases.
The current and future content is plenty for those that don’t play the game 24/7. I personally wouldn’t mind there being more things, some people just can’t be satisfied no matter how much content they put in the game.
I dont have full bis, that is the only thing that is missing.
Content should be enough to last the average player(meaning not super hardcore sweatlord, but not filthy casual either) 2-3 months until the next phase comes out. Multiple raids, one VERY good wpvp event at least, not like ashenvale now(I liked the rumors about that cart pushing) maybe even a season defining global pvp event in some form and expanded questlines, even some new quests with cool mechanics.
Do you really think the average player has time to do multiple raids in a week? And when I say average player, I mean people with jobs and other things to do than play wow.
Currently we have 2-3 lockouts in a week, each taking about an hour, not counting time to form it if you’re pugging. If we’d have two different raids that would be 4-6 hours of raiding on one character. Gnomer will without a doubt take more time to do than BFD, so if there were to be another raid on the side we’d perhaps be talking about 10+ hours of raiding alone. Then there’s all the other activities in the game, pvp, farming / making gold, grinding rep and things such as runes.
What you’re talking about is not content for the average player, but sweatlords who spend to much time playing the game.
I have a job, friends girl normal life and whatnot, and im doing raid 2 times a week , it takes like 1h, 1,5 if u pug and count in grouping and runing.
Im playing with friend who also has like 1yo kid so yea, if he can do it, i would say every other “average” player can do it…
