Lately I’ve seen a drastic reduction of population in the servers, pretty much every server is empty compared to 2-3 weeks ago, ofc thats understandable which most people already geared their characters and theres pretty much nothing to do but for the sake of ones who is still trying to play, I wonder if there will be a server merge to increase population, and please blizzard at least move this layering thing in these low populated times.
Give it a week and 2 days and the crying about servers being over-populated and queues will be back

Yeah, I know everything will be back to normal with new phase but I mean man cmon there is literally no one to do even 1 dungeon.

Just visit the other realms in the meantime in preperation for the Phase 2 population surge.
You’ll see, players will scream bloody murder for queues and need more realms and when the hype dies down it’s all about merging “dead” realms again.
If anything, the current amount of realms seem to be just about right to maintain the playerbase. Maybe if Blizzard didn’t create the Chaos Bolt realm the other realms might’ve had a more tight knit population activity.
There is only one low population realm and that’s an RP realm so no, merges should not happen.
What you are probably seeing is empty layers.
Once again, after 2 weeks of phase 2 chaos bolt server is already giving the vibe of dying slowly, population reduced hardly finding dung groups not even talking about after 10-11 pm server time.
You should change realm, connections will not happen. Especially since the other 2 PvP realms are locked or full.
Yeah and that calls for a lot of re-work to do from scratch since there is no server transfer is allowed in seasonal servers, it started to feel like is it me who should try to find a solution to this or the service provider who I’m already paying upfront for 6 month sub with 3 different accounts.
There may be a small exodus, but not a mass flow of players returning to their old games… I’ll say that at least 75% of those playing SoD will remain there until the day comes when those realms go off line. In actuality, Blizzard should have already pulled the plug on SoD after phase 1
That is the only solution. Paying does not give you the right to dictate policy.
Anyway, it’s not like Blizzard read the forums.
I’m not dictating any policy actually, its more like a complain that I’m experiencing and as a sub paying customer I’m directing the problem Blizz itself but apparently thats not gonna work.
Blizzard cannot and will not do anything about it, I think you need to read the terms of use. Most people have no idea what they say about what you are experiencing.
You should start again now while you can.
