Will this run wow max settings

Before I buy this laptop will it run wow max settings LAPTOP

  • Intel® Core™ i5-10300H Processor
  • RAM: 8 GB 2600mhz ddr4 / Storage: 256 GB SSD
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4 GB
  • Full HD screen / 120 Hz
    THANKS

Yes it will but not in raids or 40 man bgs, or even populated areas where peple are doing stuff. You would need to adjust some setting to lower lvls to balance it out. I have Gtx 1650ti on my laptop and even i cant run at full settings in raids etc. Max settings are very demanding as of BFA. You would probabbly need some RTX laptop to run smoothly at full settings in every type of content.

4-core will barely handle WoW without addons and third party apps.

This will not handle harder areas like Ardenweald at 120 FPS to match the screen.

IMHO this is not enough, WoW takes like 100GB and the SSD needs some extra free space to perform.

Some areas already require more than 8GB. Depending on laptop model you can add RAM but you have to check before buying.

In short this laptop is bit low to be worth buying.

NOt true, i have laptop with same CPU as OP and i can run everythin maxx full hd setting at seeting slider 8 even raids. Maxx settings is different league thou you need realy good GPU to handle stable frames in demanding aspects of the game. I prefer playing on laptops i have lot of experience how game perfoms on them. From BFA game just got more intense to ran at maxx that is it. But You can still run it smooth on old 5 year old pc even in raids that is the magic of this game.

You can run WoW on 4 cores but this is buying a new laptop that very likely can turn out “low” for next expansion or other game/task OP may put it to. You should not buy a new PC/laptop that is ok-ish today, you should aim for something that will still be good in a year or two at least.

And there is a really good competition among entry level laptops so I don’t see any reason to not take advantage of that and get something bit better - 6+ cores, 2x8GB RAM, good 512GB-1TB SSD, 1660 Ti.

True i upgraded this summer and its mindblowing!! I had 8core chip before but FX buldozer 8370 so bad single core performance with GTX 1060 and 2x8GB RAM DDR3 1833mhz which was not so bad for wow even that CPU bottlenecked little bit that GPU…but as somebody said here in raids on ultra details cranked it was disaster…like under 10fps even sometimes but in normal situations i had around 60-80fps …or big fights low fps too guess because of that CPU i had like 65% usage of GPU…now with Ryzen 9 5900X 12c/24t its mindblowing how everything is fast with RTX 3080 for 1080p premium 240hz panel with G-Sync…64GB RAM DDR4 3600mhz, using newest 2TB Samsung 980pro Gen4 M2 disc its mindblowing experience in WOW right now…capping 240hz everywhere using 235fps cap to get benefit from that G-Sync hope this build will last few years for 1080p especially i guess for upcoming WoW expansions no problem at all.
