ty. will give it a try. even though npc scan still works (npc scan overlay is the broken one), i have wondered sometimes about how “awake” npc scan is. like literally just now, i went into the cave in blasted lands where " Mojo the Twisted" spawns. and the i only became aware of him cause i was standing right next to him mining a thorium node. the add on only then became alerted me as i moused over him.
if i have to mouse over the rares to see them, then that is close to useless, BUT i have been rare hunting throughout kalimdor, and i have found dozens of rares just flying around, so i shouldn’t need to mouse over them i think. i just am not sure what makes npc scan pop an alert ![:frowning:](https://d1bg94bbsh66ji.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/frowning.png?v=6" ":frowning:")
