Will we be able to play Naga in the WS-Saga?

When can I play a Tide Hunter?

Sadly we have no idea what will come with the next expansions.

Tide hunters in WoW are elementals no? Or am I thinking of the wrong thing?

I’m not sure it’s gonna happen bud. Maybe if Azshara returns on midnight.

Tide hunter is more like title/profession than anything else. W have at least:

  1. Neptulon (so yes, elemental) https://warcraft.wiki.gg/wiki/Neptulon
  2. Murlock Tide Hunters https://warcraft.wiki.gg/wiki/Murloc_Tidehunter
  3. Naga Tide Hunters https://warcraft.wiki.gg/wiki/Stormcoil_Tide-Hunter
  4. Jinyu Tide Hunters https://warcraft.wiki.gg/wiki/Sahn_Tidehunter

Thanks for the clarification!!!

How about an Undead rework which the alliance can play, instead of a Naga? And remember, if you’d like to complain about it, Blizzard will be happy to receive your cash with both hands.

Nah but I’d love a Naga, have thought of that since WoD. Probably it would be a Panda-type shared race. Ogres would fill the Horde out very well too.

Murlocs as playable race pl0x!

they’ll add naga and since then community will be eternally bashing devs about being lazy and not implementing full display of armor pieces

Probably yeah, although there’s complaints which are valid and complaints which are silly. I hope I am not misguided in trusting the wow devs to know the difference.

They said in the past, displaying armor due to the tail would not be a problem. Also, they could add new armor/weapon variation as they did it with the glaives for DH. It would be an original addition compared to LF draenei or DI dwarves which are just draenei and dwarves really.

Suuure.
gleans towards dracthyr

I highly doubt we will ever be able to play Naga given they have no legs and thus riding mounts doesn’t work. Although being able to just fly around in a bubble would be awesome.

I don’t think mounts would be a problem. We have red Draeneis now. Lore can be shaped to whatever.

One Naga-Clan did not follow Illidan and Vashj. Instead, they created an illusion that turns them into Night Elves/Nightborne.

Mounts solved.
Blizz can find a better explanation, I guess.

It would work ingame the same way Worgen or Drakthyr work. But if they keep firing hundreds of people, it will probably not happyn anytime soon.

I’ve always wanted the Naga to be playable. I’ve been fond of them ever since they helped out Kael’thas.

azshara joins the alliance to kill all the elves

And this is why Allied races should never have happened in the first place.

“I want to play as Race X because I think it looks cool”

“Choose between 650 races”

No. How about another dwarfs?

i would’ve said the same till we got evoker. now the armour thing is solved and I’m sure they’d find a workaround for the legs. not sure if id personally play a naga but id deffo try it once for the starter zone assuming we will get them with future races

its basicly just a name. In wc 3 naga tide hunters were a thing and likely in wow as well.

And i think theres some giant as well wich are called tidehunters

Anyway be careful what you wish for. If you wish for playable naga and blizz listens to you, then you probably will get some scuffed yinyu. Not even the models in game but a worse version.

Thats how allied races are done after all. Don’t give the players what they asked for but give them a ruined version. Just look at the earthen dwarfs or mecha gnomes or void elfs etc.
