King’s Honor, friend. This is about Seal of Command, Divine Storm and Crusader Strike not being able to proc Wild Strikes.
-
- Seal of Command in TBC / TBC Classic had it’s damage registered as an attack, not a spell, and Seal of Command not proccing Wild Strikes is inconsistent to TBC / TBC Classic.
-
- Crusader Strike is a targeted melee ability that deals physical damage, not holy damage, but can’t proc Wild Strikes. Meanwhile, Quick Strike - another targeted melee ability that is obtained via rune and does physical damage - can proc Wild Strikes. They’re basically the exact same spell with different numerical values but only one can proc Wild Strikes.
-
Divine Storm also does physical damage, not holy damage, and doesn’t proc Wild Strikes, while Whirlwind in Classic can proc Windfury. Divine Storm is also the only ability that I know of that has the “Treat as Area Effect” tag
(https ://www.wowhead.com/classic/spell=407778/divine-storm) while being target capped.
Whirlwind and Divine Storm both deal physical damage and do not require a target in melee range to be used. However one is uncapped and is able to proc Wild Strikes / Windfury, the other is target capped at 4 and doesn’t proc Wild Strikes / Windfury.

This is just extremely inconsistent and doesn’t make sense. Please address these issues.
TL;DR - None of the Paladin abilities or seals that could previously proc Windfury are able to proc Wild Strikes, massively gimping ret performance as a whole.
