I’ve had 2 groups brick my keys in Neltharus in the last hour and a half.
The last run, the tank started pulling 2 mobs at a time because he was playing on a laptop and doesn’t like large pulls, warlock started complaining and then left after larger pulls because the tank didn’t pull 3 packs at once, 2nd boss never spawned the first set of chains so the AoE couldn’t be stopped because this is a premium game with 0 bugs that never wastes your time.
I can’t stand Neltharus as it is because it’s atrociously designed, feels and looks like garbage, and is extremely easy to wipe in pugs on tyrannical on multiple bosses. I detest it even more when I have to keep bricking my keys due to people throwing tantrums, so let me reroll the key once so that I can do literally anything else.
It’s painfully evident that Blizzard refuses to moderate M+ to any degree, so at least put keys on a random rotation that cycles through each key in a set, so that 50% of all the keys I got this season aren’t Neltharus. There is no harm in letting us reroll each key once, and if everyone is rerolling the same keys all the time, then you have designed a terrible dungeon that should be nuked from the game.
I’ve been asking the same questions for a loooong time. This season I’m stuck in a hellish loop of HoI turning into the Underrot and vice versa. It’s always HoI and Undr, no other options…
We can reroll keys under the current system. But it does require you to run a key of the same level or higher as your key and time it. Then an NPC is available at the last boss or loot chest to reroll.
It’s better than nothing and ofc we can reroll as many times as we like, providing we keep running more keys to do so.
As a group we find our keys often all morph into the same thing. And usually we don’t want to run it
Got to agree think there should be something better put in for re-rolling keys, for example i dont understand whether re-rolling or not why when you get a new key is it random.
Surely everyones key should turn into a key they have not completed this week - once you have done all 8 dungeons its random from there. At least then you’d know right ive done those 3 so it wont be them. (and it shouldnt have to be your key you’ve run should be any).
Re-rolling keys should probably unlock to be easier later in the season as well, if you dont need an 18FH or whatever and thats the key you got on Wednesday, why cant you just flip it straight away?
mythic plus is designed to be played with a premade group despite the fact a lot of people refuse to do so (me included) and go random pug mode.
In a premade group you can just reroll all keys after the run (so you have 4+1 = 5 new keys), play the one that is the easiest/one you want, time reroll all keys again and push another one etc.
The problem with this idea in principle is that contextually it sounds fine, but the reality would be people pushing an easy key, then rerolling a hard key to get something easier at the higher key level.
I’m not sure what you mean so I will just give an example.
This week my key is a +22 UR. If I want to reroll that key I need to run any key that is +22 or higher and then at the end I can reroll it, providing we made the timer.
Rerolling keys would make sense if people didn’t want to run 8x underrot, 8x sbg, 8 x cos, 8 x maw or what’s the easy key of season and be done for the week.
they could improve it easily. first you can choose the dungeons. if you want score you need to do all if them anyway. 2nd you can play lower keys with your stone and dont lose your progress. only the highest key level can be reduced. This gives us the freedom to play keys with friends and push them without depleting to lower key.
i mean diablo had a good system with greater rifts and these devs like diablo so just copy it to m+. current key system is ultra garbage
