Hello,
I bought Windows 8.1 yesterday and I had been in trouble with Battle.net Client.
Well after one full night and few hours in new day I fixed up the problem.
1. Don't run any Blizzard game or Battle.net client as "run as administrator"
2. Delete in ProgramData Battle.net and Blizzard Entertainment Folders.
3. Open C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp and delete all crap inside...
It should all work now fine. But incase make full permission for your user on C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp directory.
Now I don't have anymore problem with damn launching the games from Battle.net Client.
