Win trading?

Is it still a thing now?
Is it a problem at all anymore?
Wich brackets are getting win traded?
Are people getting banned from win trading at all?

I could think that some mythic guilds and some heroics guilds could be win trading for example in RBGs since they have a roster of 20 people, maybe 2s and 3s for smaller guilds

Greetings mr. Sherlock Holmes, we actually don’t know. But if you find out the possible circumstances, we will all gladly applause you. :+1:t2:

Its not call wintrading anymore, straight up boosting!

As long as it’s possible to create MMR, win trading will be a thing.

It is still a thing and Blizzard doesn’t care. BfA S4 was the biggest fiesta in terms of win trading and boosting and literally nothing happened. Everyone got to keep their titles/mounts etc. So if you want to buy a win trade or boost, just go for it.

But I mean, how do you catch wintrading with proof in hand? Don’t think you can.

Blizzard was totally capable of identifying wintrading in past expansions and they were banning people for it and taking their achievements from them. I am not an expert and it’s not my job to figure this out. All i know is that Blizzard managed to find out and act accordingly and that’s all i care for as a customer.

Kekw, actually no. Still a lot of players that did tones of wintrading in RBG exist with achi. Even in 2014 everyone did wintrade in RBG and it was a bad move if u missed a RBG wintrade, it was a something like promoted action - everybody knows, everybody did it and nobody was banned.

Well yeah that’s just it.
A team queueing up at 04:00, facing another team who decided to do the same over and over and winning 50% of the time. It seems very plausible at top end mmr, so it’s very easy to mask as well.

how would this work? i’ve never understood win trading.

if you win a game and then lose one after, won’t you still be at the same cr if playing at the same mmr??

2k + 11 for your win, and -11 for your lose?

sorry if it seems a stupid question

Usually it is like +10 and -7 at close rating if I am not mistaken maybe +15-16 -7-10

Think of it this way.

If you’re two teams sitting on 3k cr, and each one of you have 3.1k mmr, what you do then is wintrade the game to the other team, which will result in them getting +14 cr and you -7 cr. This increases the enemy mmr and lowers yours by a smaller amount.
Normally, this would seperate the teams because of the difference in MMR, however, because there are so few people at that range, and if you queue in the middle of the night, there are no teams for the system to match you against, and it’ll eventually widen the search until you’re matched again, where it could be something like 3070 mmr vs 3150 mmr. Now you let the lower mmr team win, to get +14 cr and the other team loses like -8 cr. This’ll increase team 1’s mmr by a larger amount and lower team 2’s mmr by a smaller amount, so in the end they could both be sitting on 3115 mmr for an example.

Repeat, until you’ve reached your desired rating.

Imagine Wintrading, buying boosts, buying things in general which are behind a playerskill cap.

Whats the point of doing it when you dont achieve it yourself? Literally pointless. No one takes you serious anyway and considering how floppy the last couple years of PvP were the current Titles mean even less in the first place.

I’ve showed you screenshots on battlenet of a certain forum celebrity doing it, it was during S4 BfA.

Of win trading? Don’t think so, I only have some of boosting.
