Wind Ranger Hero Talents (and why Dark Ranger is terrible idea)

you are looking for “good-ish” class and decide for a Hunter - that’s all good, no traces about Void/Fel/Death in Hunter’s nature-oriented implementation for the whole 20 years

then, out-of-nowhere (!), someone comes and says you’re Hunter is now “dark”, which is not acceptable to you

You get to chose between 2 sets of hero talents, dont pick dark ranger and you’re good…

No other Hero Talents so far is introducing a strong new theme that is not a core part of the current implementation of the class.

We’ve had hints of dark rangers on the hunter class over many years… dark ranger is really not that surprising…
Datk rangers are traditionally just regular ranger that were resurrected.

It isnt well informed, the dark rangers are the 2nd or arguably most prominent hunter organisation in the lore. They and the sentinels are the cenarion circle of hunters.

If I’m not mistaken dark rangers are basically dead elven rangers (initially not hunters but army) and sentinels are the bulk of the night elves army (huntress, warriors etc).
How would a dwarf hunter identify to any of them? Makes no sense.
I really dislike hero talents as a whole tbh, either they are too generic and don’t feel like hero talents anymore or they are specifically tied to a race.

The same way nathanos blight called became a ranger and then a dark ranger or how worgen have join the ranks of the sentinels, you can be taught these classes they aren’t race specific.

Also there are loads other hero talents that are more race specific, druid of the claw and sentinel are only nelf and worgen, sanlayn is belf undead only, mountain thane are only dwaf, we have only seen pandaren monk as shado pan.
