Windfury Totem tooltip error or a bug with Crusading Strikes

Currently Crusading Strikes build is being played quite a lot. As you may know that build doesn’t benefit from Windfury Totem at all. Its because the totem only counts melee attacks as auto-attacks. The tooltip states “have a 20% chance when they auto-attack to swing an extra time.” Until the ret rework melee has been the only auto-attack type in the game, however Crusading Strikes is indeed an auto-attack as it automatically attacks the target based on swing timer. So clearly the melee attack not the auto-attack is hardcoded into the Windfury Totem thus making the tooltip indeed incorrect. If it is a bug I am well aware that WF would make quite an impact for CS build but then again it could also be a tooltip error that can be fixed more easily.

Edit. Obv Auto Shot is also a type of auto-attack however the WF tooltip also states that “swing an extra time” which basically excludes shooting.

Lol, imagine how strong wf totem would be if it actually worked with crusading strikes.

Crusading Strikes’ tooltip quite literally states that it does not work with Windfury…

I am a bit confused to what your point is, but maybe you haven’t read the talent’s tooltip - it excludes your strikes from WF as stated there.

Because WF and HP regen with huge magic damage cleaving damage would have been insane.

It is not an error. If actualy worked, you would see Ret palas topping Dmg in raid pretty much. As Not only extra dmg from strikes but also Holy power generation to spam verdicts. It would be broken and Basicaly it would give you exponential Dmg boost due to this.
