Since 8.0.1 the fullscreen option hasn’t been featured in wow (which is stoopid as FFxiv still has it) and since its removal myself and thousands of others on lower/mid range pc or laptops have had an fps drop.
I didn’t mind it too much in bfa but in shadowlands I’m starting to notice my missing 10 fps. I’ve fiddled with all the settings and the best I can muster is the 5th setting which gives me about 30fps and drops slightly if the game gets all partically (noticeable fps drop)
However that’s with my game set to fullscreen windowed (I think that’s the setting) if I change it to just a windowed version the 10 missing fps pop back and the game runs smoother but it’s windowed as in I can see my desktop etc or the games borders.
Now I could keep my game in fullscreen rocket the settings down and just have a potato looking game that is an option. But I don’t like potato games. So what do I do?.
Stay fullscreen with splodgy fps.
Go windowed and have it smoothed out… But have it WINDOWED which kinda sux and puts me off.
Or go potato.
I’d love to buy a better pc but I can’t afford one so that’s not an option at all.
So what’s your opinions or fixes to improve this. I’ve tried to overclock but turns out you can’t overclock a gtx950m.
Nope !
Texture resolution make your characters looks pretty ,and it’s set to high
Particle and spells to medium
Only thing you will loose is amount of foliage and water reflections.
