Whenever I brows something on the internet and WoW.exe enters Efficiency Mode.
The game forces my PC in a reboot.
Can we have this issue sorted pls. Windows 11 dose not have a setting of turning off Efficiency Mode permanently. Windows 10 did not had this issue or nonsense.
You probably have tried this, but did you right click on world of warcaft in the task manager and de-selected the efficiency mode? I don’t have efficiency mode on world of warcraft when I browse the internet with Firefox and WoW is in the background/minimized.
I see efficiency mode on a lot of my firefox processes and i can right-click and uncheck the efficinecy mode for that process, so maybe the same can be done for WoW?, but you wrote about not being able to disable it permanently, so maybe you currently have to uncheck it everytime you launch wow?
I searched around on the internet and found this, so maybe a restart after unchecking will work? idk
Does Efficiency mode turn off automatically?
Yes, Efficiency mode will automatically turn off after a restart of your system. You will need to turn it back on manually once your system restarts.
No i sadly cant even do that. When Efficiency mode is active on Wow or other games the game immediately brakes and forces my PC in a reboot.
I`m using “Opera” as browser and Yes, Efficiency mode is always active on internet browsers.
The fact that it even applies on games you play Windowed Fullscreen is stupid.
I`ve made a change from windows 11 graphics support for windowed games found at “Display” settings. I selected high performance xx GPU you have instead of letting windows decide by itself.
Hopefully this solves the issue, still in testing atm
