The author of the previous one found a solution but keeps it secret? On my realm we are now starting to raid if as the allies do get presents but the horde not. Fine. Lets start a war on christmas. Or tell me how else to proceed. As for raising a bug report I would need a char on a us server.

I deleted my previous thread, because I found I was mistaken about the looted presents - the Green and Red winter helpers are in my collection, but under a different name. So no bug in this regard.
But it’s unfortunate to find out that the Horde version of Winter veil is indeed, bugged.

Gifts are only in Iron, there are no gifts in Ogre, they are not usable.

Interesting that there is apparently a consistent-ish problem now with the World Events where the Horde/Orgrimmar spawns do not work, but Ironforge does (see Brewfrest earlier in the year).

Presents for Horde still not “present” in Orgrimmar on Mirage-Raceway Realm. Had to fly into Ironforge and sacrifice myself to get one.

I also play Cataclysm on this nice server. All I see there all day are sad people near the Christmas tree. Many wrote that I need to fly to Iron, but I’m not ready to die.
The fun thing is, there are free2play mmorpgs that have better support for seasonal events.

Not surprised at all. Lately, there have been many unpleasant moments in the game. It’s easy to say the word bugs, but when you encounter them so often, the game becomes not so pleasant.
A blue post has finally appeared on American forums, they will check. Maybe tomorrow…we hope, we believe, we wait.
It is fixed, and for me that was unexpected. So thank you, whoever did this.
