I’ve been wanting the NF on the offensive mount because of how cool its grey-black theme was.
But the mount that appears when you use it is not grey-black and it has a different saddle color too.
Anyone else been given the wrong version of the mount by the vendor?
I still lack 5000 rep for this one, but looking it up at wowhead and comparing it to the preview in Korthia, they indeed look a bit different in shade and saddle colour…

Meanwhile I’m a bit upset because I got the Autumnal Wildling today but need to wait for 9.1.5 release until I can ride it with my fox themed blood elf hunter… T_T

I was looking forward to the chrome-ish one with black saddle 
My warrior who is Maldraxy got the exact fly mount as advertised, no mis-color issue maldraxus wise.

But since the dark-silver version seems to be in the preview only, I almost dare saying it was put there accidentally and might in fact be the model of a fifth version of the wildling mount not released yet maybe?
Maybe or other way around even, either way they do seem to have multiple versions of this winter variation and somehow they’ve been mixed up 
You could open up a ticket to get some clarity. They might be thankful for info on these differing model versions.

So regarding the autumnal one, I found this:

One is orange (autumnal), the other one is rather red. (unreleased?) There apparently is also a violet one, which hasn’t been released yet:
And in wowhead’s preview video, you also can find a bunch of recolours, that aren’t ingame:
So, I really kind of have the feeling we’ll be getting a couple of more wilderling recolours throughout the expansion.
Agree, but when you click to preview the autumn mount, it is a very different one than what you get…

Both the previews look AMAZING, I mean a chrome one with black saddle then the autumn one with great lush red etc.
As I said above, I’ve never had issues with mounts from the other covenants, their previews matched the thing you see when mounted. But these NF ones? We got awesome previews for two new ones, but a far inferior versions when mounted.
The autumnal’s preview is the red one from the first picture I’ve posted. Whereas the actual mount is the orange one in the picture… Someone must have been a bit colour blind while setting those two previews.

Honestly, can most likely be booked under “lack of accuracy”. So done with the anima cap and shards not being tradable. Blizzard’s ever enduring struggle with quality control…
So we should report this problem right?
Well I did make a ticket about it, but the GM response was like: “it is the item being listed on the vendor, but I haven’t seen any complaints about it before, so I’ll file a report for you.”
So pretty much I’m non the wiser. I suppose more reports, maybe as bug reports? would help add some motive to fix this quicker

There might be something with it, when i check the mount, my addon “mount journal enhanced” shows the icon to display the “next color variation” like it does with the big tree.
