Wintergrasp is a shameful product

Rofl wow doesn’t have anywhere near 27 million subs classic and retail combined

Yea, some of them might read the US forums. If you think any of them read the EU forums… not happening. At all.

cuz it was never 120 vs 120 back then, the instanced very today makes sure it’s 120 v 120

wdym it was never 120vs120 ofc it was, my server in wotlk was so full people couldn’t get into wintergrasp on either faction.

The issue currently is related to which server wintergrasp is hosted on for example if it is hosted on firemaw or gehennas the wintergrasp will most likely lag, if it is hosted on Ashbringer then there won’t be nearly as much lag and blizzard can’t instance everyone on the same server as there is a resource capacity.

Was there even a cap to begin with? I might be wrong but I seem to remember it that way. First no cap and after a while with a horrible mess they locked it at 100vs100?

so up until patch 3.2.0 there was no cap but they implemented a cap of 120 per faction. prior to 3.2.0 you could have had 400 v 100

How is it even allowed to mention such things here?

Wintergrasp would be awesome if it actually worked. But to say it doesn’t work is an understatement, the lag is measured in seconds, the fps drops to single digits.

You are defending Blizzard. I have to ask why?

Issues with WG and many other things are real.

Do you work for the Blizzard or why you are not concerned of those issues too?

Do you even play WOTLK classic?

Original version was better IMO.

Its lagfest.

Slight less lag during late night when noone is on. But during peak time its 100% unplayble.

Did yesterday my first wg…

Hillarious!!! 45 sec. For mounting, even in the corners where nobody is… i could not make 1 cast and jusst lagged thru the whole bg for 15 mins, then we won cause horde couldnt def. 5k honor for doing absolute nothing.

Lol original version was exactly like it is now, for quite a long period of time before it got any better.

No it wasn’t.

I rather have lag and not being able to play than actually having to play bgs to get pvp gear.

When in the hell has WoW ever had 27 million players?

Well, short answer… never

Longer answer: at the very top peak of wow it had almost half of that.

To be fair there’s been at least 100 million accounts created
