Wintergrasp.. Remains unfixed unplayable garbo

Wotlk has been out for over a few weeks, minor bugs and issues seem to be slowly getting fixed, very slowly but something is happening…

It’s very expected that Blizzard focuses on the PvE side of things in WoW in general, nothing different in these classic games. But man, PvP is gar-bage in Wotlk classic so far, with Wintergrasp being the unplayable abomination it is. First few weeks it was alright, ‘this will get fixed soon’ and ‘can’t get worse!’ made it bearable… But these last few weeks, NOTHING has improved, if anything, lagg is getting WORSE. THe wintergrasp zone is FILLED with bugs that are starting to annoy the beep out of players.

#1 The Battle for Wintergrasp CAN last half an hour, most battles are done within 15-20 minutes. If you fly to WG, to queu the battle and you win or lose WITHIN 30 minutes, you will get TELEPORTED TO DALARAN? Not just once, but for every damn second until the 30 minutes are over. Making Wintergrasp a 4x daily area that is locked, can’t do anything in the zone, can’t even fly through on your way to the far east or west of the continent…
#2 Mining nodes that ARE there, but once again, locked or not accessible. There’s at least 1 mining node next to the WG fortress that’s been there since day 1, not even bots seem to be able to mine that node. With WG being a seriously good zone for mining, previous point is annoying as hell, considering how packed the other few farm spots are already.

#3 Maybe i’ve missed this, but gear obtainable from WG marks/Stonekeeper’s Shards is pretty minimal except the PvP heirlooms. With Arena gear gated behind rating (some serious grinding to even get to deadly set) the use of the honor from WG is very limited. Will there be some new gear each phase, obtainable through Wintergrasp or is it really just this kickstart to PvP gear as it is now?

Not even worth a #4 to shoutout to the unplayable lagg. As a rogue the hardest challenge in a WG is getting to auto attack, or getting an ability chained to a shadowstep. It seems standard to have 3 to 5 seconds of delay, with the most ridiculous spikes of 1-3 minutes of delay in mid or around the fortress…

Blizzard please. Give at least 1 damn about PvP and make it playable. Fix the lagg in Wintergrasp. Remove rating requirement on at least the deadly off-set pieces, it’s already hard enough to get a decent rating and amount of arena points. Class balance is what it is i guess, not expecting any changes there. But for fk sake, fix the damn bugs, lags and stupid systems.
This Classic version of Wrath is 1 big, underwhelming let down so far, some stuff has to change in PvP…

And I would reduce the number of players to 40 on each side, increasing the number of “copies” of this BG.
The game engine is clearly not up to par. Yes, and the beginning of the battle with a ratio of 60/120 greatly hinders the victory.

And can someone explain what the buff for winning depends on? Sometimes you win, but there is no buff, and sometimes vice versa.

Just turn it into another boring AV … make it 40v40, reduce HP of objectives and vehicles, reduce honor gain and allow people to que into it any time they want …

Its absolute garbage, laggy as hell, nonsense like people throwing match after match for stupid tower quest, an issue that could be solved by simply giving kill credit raid wide.

Useless loser buff that doesnt help at all, since you get jumped by 120 people and cant attack anyway, and then when people actually join in, you instantly lose any advantage you might have had and lose the game …

Defenders who literally just have to afk in their base for 20 minutes, attackers who are going to waste 20 minutes unless they rush in within 2 minutes … at least in garbage like AV, sota, IoC, you get to play both attack and defense …
