So, wintergrasp, despite being an expansion old content, is still relevant in terms of honor gained. However, the game is pretty much unwinnable if you are attacking and the total number of brain cells among the 120 defenders is at least 1.
Why do the vehicles have even less HP than they had in wrath of the lich king expansion? It’s literally impossible to win. However, the weekly quests are still relevant as they grant triple the honor that you would get for repeatedly winning a normal bg. This makes playing ordinary bg the most irrelevant thing for PvP which kinda makes me sad. The only relevant way of getting honor “quickly” is logging into WG, hoping to be a defender or logging into TB and hoping to be an attacker (yes, the correlation is that i have never won a TB when i was a defender, unless this one game which turned out to be 80 vs 9 ppl and we just guarded them on the graveyard).
Is there something wrong about my point of view? Will something be done about it ?
I still don’t understand why TB gives so little honor. Last I tried I didn’t make 100 honor and we won. It’s just completely crap and ridiculous when WG which is from the PREVIOUS expac gives 1k for a victory. Add to that the weeklies and it’s a jackpot.
This is beyond stupid and feels like the bad game design from SoD… when doing BGs gives the least honor then you know they screwed up hard
But Cata is so immensely flawed and bugged, it’s just funny by now
That happens when you defend and you keep all 4 towers alive, which when you get a pvp server (like firemaw aliance) against some random, is totally possible.
You’re right, I saw the 400 for victory on chat yeah. I was only looking at the alt tab screen at the end of the BG that shows (or is supposed to show) the total honor gained during the BG and it’s always 35 or 50 honor.
yeah in TB you share honor from kills with 80 ppl, so you dont expect huge income for killing. and there is no honor for checking/defending the base, so 80% honor is winning.
That’s what newbies should learn when they fight mid. You waste 30 min for 150 honor or 500.
