Hi!
This is my personal wishlist (sorry my english not perfect).
Basic:
– Improve graphic (character & old mount models, some terrian).
– Better story writing, stop retcon (SL story writing bad. Very bad).
– After hit the max lvl whit one character, the others/alts charachters receive +50% XP bonus. After two char hit the max lvl this bonus go 100%.
– Less fetch quest.
– Far more character customization option.
Classes:
– New classes: Warden (A) and Witch Doctor (H), the faction & race specific classes. Necromancer (A & H) ranged class.
– Some class need 4. spec: like Warrior (Gladiator: Shield + 1H melee DD spec), Hunter (Stalker: 2x1H full melee DD spec), Mage (Battlemage melee + mid.range DD spec), etc…
Races:
New natural races who can choose faction:
– Half-orc
– Half-elf
– Undead (specific starting zone, maybe forsaken rebellion)
– Dragonborn (half-dragons) maybe…
New faction specific races:
– High Elf (Alliance)
– Mok’nathal (Horde)
Gameplay:
– More focus the class balance please.
– PvP: Need rework. New reward system, and one scaling system: all players in BG, RBG, Arena scaled the same ilvl.
And my big wish: delete the two faction system, is very outdated and limit the story.
WoW needs a big renewal, and this is big work. But was the last time I saw it the Activision-Blizzard is one big company, not small indie.
LFD Removed, CRZ removed or gone back to the first way it used to be after MoP release, where it had the right sharding and you didn’t see 10+ opposite faction in zones, 2 of your own. Numerous times.
Completely agree. There needs to be new leadership in ActiBlizzard to take the game in a different direction. Ion is obsessed with systems and Steve Danuser spends too much time re-writing everything to make his love of Sylvanas more justified.
Rather than cutting staff, if they invested in proper content design and variation, players would probably return to WoW. In its current state though, I can’t see the game lasting another expansion.
The obsession with system needs to end. This is very simple, player power should come from gear. Gear should come from PVP, dungeons and raids. Development time which has been sunk into multiple systems over the past three expansions, system which never last longer than the end of the expansion they were added in (and thus wasted) should be devoted to the creation of content, content and more content.
Steve Danuser’s cosmic journey needs to be nipped in the bud. The realms beyond Azeroth are so disconnected from how we understand the world that it feels like an excursion into another setting right now. If you wish to deal with the other forces, please do so via familiar vectors. For example, rather than a trip to the Light Lands or the Void Lands, use Yrel’s Army of the Light or a resurgent Twilight’s hammer as the bad guys fighting on behalf of their respective forces. You know, mortal beings with relatable motivations.
The writing needs to be improved, vastly. It’s time Blizzard stopped pretending nobody else in the MMO sphere matters. Their competitors are so far ahead in terms of narrative it’s like comparing the Wright Brothers to the NASA scientists behind the moon landing. What is being put out now is embrassing. Oh, and please start including all important plot beats in the game rather than releasing tie in novels or comics that explain everything to those who are willing to stump up more cash. It’s tiresome at this point.
Those would still be Void Elves, and they should not be encouraged. Void Elves, like every other Allied race, are indicative of the path blizzard has gone down. Most Allied races could easily have been folded into their parent races as extra customisation optionsn but instead they were created as separate races with unique racials that Blizzard could then get paid race changes from. We should not thank them for limiting our choices as they have. Imagine if all the Mag’har Orc options were available on standard Orcs for example.
The fact they exist is a testament to Blizzard’s degradation and poor handling of WoW in quesiton.
My wish is just stop reseting game every expansion and let us be more and more powerful everyexpansion
Add more talents more lvls more and more and more like they did back in the glory days
progresion from WOTLK/CATA/MOP i love
i don’t really care that people don’t like numbers in 500k i just wants to be more OP again
so i think they need to remove scaling ?? to achiev this?
playable high elves (proper high elves, not void corrupted elves with makeup and a wig) for the alliance.
playable murlocs for the alliance.
playable ogres for the horde.
playable manari for the horde ( red dranei).
increase customizations for the nightborne 10 times.
heritage armor for all the missing races.
capital cities for all the homeless races, (re)-building possibly tied to the story quests.
sylvanas as an interactable/emotable npc in a cell in tyrande’s basement, in her home in new darnassus.
delaryn and ferryn NPCs reunited.
focus on class and race combos with TONS of cosmetic customizations ( spell recolours, titles, mounts, mogs, etc)
class tier sets for raids, m+ and pvp.
open world progression: gliding, learning to fly, waterwalking, overcoming weather events, better drops, seeing treasures, rares, not tied to player power if not for catchup gear (LFR ilvl)
account bound progression, are you exalthed with the yellowfin murlocs? all your alts have access to the exalted items from the vendor, have you unlocked a zone/worldphase on your main? all your alts have it optionally unlocked.
developed professions with useful and marketable recipes, that drop in parallel in different content, and provide useful recipes to craft gear on par/slightly better with the difficulty you get the recipes/materials from ( ie you drop a recipe for an engi helmet from the final boss of a raid, that item should have HC +5 ilvl )
fixed sockets, mainly on necks, rings, belts, cloaks, and weapons, no more random sockets.
flightmaster whistle.
player housing, but in the opposite direction to garrison, no nodes/farms, but useful tools to explore the world, customize the looks (helped by revamped professions), and showcase progression of character/guild, focus on customization and cosmetic.
parallel progression for raiding, m+, and pvp that do not force people to do content they don’t like, if the content is good people will do it without the need for bribes.
trickshot needing 2 targets instead of 3 for MM hunters.
attention and weight given to the metrics by the dev teams reduced 10fold.
learnable languages to talk to the opposite faction.
emissary status, you can flag yourself as an emissary for the other faction (opposite of warmode) and you can join groups with people of the other faction to do instanced content.
implement these things and wow will be saved, sure it may require hiring a lot of new people, but you need to spend money to make money.
implement these changes and adopt the philosofy behind it for the future (player experience >>>>>>>>>>> tencent metrics) and wow will be back on top .
