Which is your favorite expansion? as well. 
Highest sub count doesn’t equate to best expansion, and the reason for that is… because the longer the game has been out the more player drop off it will tend to have. All games peak, and then eventually that drops and games don’t tend to ever hit that ‘peak’ again.

Not really, since anyone with any amount of forum experience knows how to actually look for peoples posts. Compared to what exactly? 'cause I can’t find any other games from 2004 that have the numbers that WoW even has today.
Because that had to do with investors and quarterly results, which now instead they go with MAU and etc. If you looked at quarterly reports, you would know this. You know, the actual data sources for how many people are ‘playing’ etc.
That is what happens after a game peak, especially for a game that’s been out for almost 17 years. Still doing what no other game company has done with a single title.
Hmm, back in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 it was all Growth. If you had seen the graph you would know this. Every expansion past that? Yep! Back and forth, people come to do the new content, have their fun with an expansion launch… Unsub for a while, and a decent chunk of them come back for patch content, etc. Pretty stable source for that from Quarterlies.
