Oh and btw OP. It’s good to see evidence for what I’ve been saying for a while on the forums. In regards to grindy systems are in the game due to axed overheads via reduced dev team by Blizzard. Done to spread more profits among the acti-blizz top dogs.
They axe the dev team size, and they can do this by implementing grindy time gated systems. They still work to get players hooked (skinner box) and are easy to implement for the small dev team.

18.82% Legion, 26.10% mists of pandaria. That means 34.92% of people disagree with you in that regard and prefer THOSE expansions oever Wrath which was voted at 32.47%. If you want to go all the way, you could add the rest and say 55.53% people disagree with you and that means (Majority) don’t think WOTLK is the best expansion.

Actually, if you read the earning calls reports you would know they actually talk about just WoW in general too and talk about any dips/gains in players.

The reason is that Metacritic have -themselves- been criticised for inaccurate figures and biasing reviews, in one case because they were approached to, in another even more sinisterly. They are owned by Red Ventures. There was a game came out a few years back, it received glowing reviews, apart from 1 review in the Washington Post. The Metacritic review, supposedly including all these sites that loved the game, was 4/10. After investigation they admitted they had not included every reviewing site (Something they always promised they would do…)
Even worse, their parent company once gave unfavourable reviews to companies who provided medical health supplies, and instead saying that the best on the market was this one particular company, giving it massively high ratings (Despite it being an inferior business) guess who owned that Medical Company? Red Ventures again! Metacritic’s bosses!
So actually, no, Metacritic themselves cherry pick, and have been rated as reliable with bias, or unreliable with bias by such industries as govern fair detail of data.
