Seriously, every day i see less and less teams forming for rated bgs, 3s and pops for solo shuffle now taking hours on 2k+ mmr.
In previous season which ended in time and lasted adequate amount of time we had no such problem up until end of the season! When season lasts too long most of players getting bored and just stop playing which leads to less engagement and more pain for those who still playing
Season 2 is running for 6 months, which is exactly the right length when there are 4 seasons in a 2 year expansion.
His point is probably that 4 seasons of 6 months is too long.
Everyoneâs favourite expansion had 7 seasons.
âEveryoneâsâ favourite?
Care to make another âwhat was your favourite expansion?â post to test that?
Donât tempt him.
iâm not sure if itâs about the length of the season, talking from pve aspect, i think there are not much to do unless youâre pushing for the top %3. other competitive games give players something to do like reaching a certain rank to get that rankâs rewards . in wow youâre either in top %1 or you get your ksm and youâre done which takes only a few weeks even if you do it casually .
It depends what you enjoy doing with your time, I guess. KSM is no challenge any more, and thereâs no meaningful reward for it, so I just ignore it.
KSH and dungeon teleports are enough of a challenge to aim for on alts (I have over 2.5k on 7 characters and most of the teleports on most of those).
My druid is over 3.2k as feral, and Iâm still trying to gain a little more score there as well as pushing over 3k as balance and trying to do a bit as guardian (maybe 2.5k/20s timed). It all depends on how much time I have.
My problem is certainly not lack of things to do!
just remove pvp problem solved
Pvp inst already removed?
Did i miss something?
No idea which one was favourite but I quite like this chart.

Having some downtime in the game is a good thing really. Gives players time to catch up on achievements and professions or any other personal goals they have.
Just because they arenât queuing for these premium features doesnât mean they arenât playing the game.
Also a bit of a rest before the next big push into high end content isnât a bad thing either. Being constantly âon itâ isnât good for you.
Blizz is having fun on repeating the same mistakes of prolonged content releasing
sl and bfa were kings of too long seasons and losing players is something they crave appearently
many players wont even consider this as option because one shooting everything doesnt feel like content, blizzard should update old zones for timewalking to make options to upscale to max lvl/ scale player to lower lvl, that would make content feel âappropriateâ - reward more things/ new currency/ higher drop chances on epic rewards like mounts to make it worth and all people would actually consider it as content. now people can do such things only if they are veterans of wow and really know how things work and remember things they didnât finish before
especially with turbulent timeways it would be just perfect
Seems like people are still struggling with the concept of not having to log in every day.
Dragonflight Season 1 (or Arena Season 34) is a PvP season that began on 12 December 2022 and ended on 1 May 2023 with patch 10.1.
Dragonflight season 2 started on 9 may? And ends on 7 of november which is longer than previous season.
The feature is that previous season felt pretty balanced starting from the begining and up to the end while this season lasts longer and activity already dropped significantly and continues to drop. Longer queues, less teams and how we are supposed to push it to 7 of november?
Well it just highlights how boring the actual end game is. Once you reach the silly little ilvl number there is no game left worth playing, which is why they keep diluting that process every year.
Man, MoP was on such a roll until it just stopped progressing half way
At least DF is doing better than Shadowlands for patch cadence. I really hope 10.2 isnât the end though, that would really undo a lot of the good work and make players take long breaks. From which they may not come backâŠ
Yeah, DF season 1 was very short. I noticed that.
Quite.
Or just finding personal goals in game that isnât adding another +1 item level to their gearscoreâŠ
I mean that is generally what you are supposed to do, yes. There are other games out there to play.
Nice graph. Shows the problem to long last patch, Blizz focused on next expansion. Players to long on content and every expansion ended with the general feeling this is the worst expansion ever. Today many regard Wrath as on of the best but I was there and in the last months everyone hated it. Same goes for most expansions just to long at the end which leads to players leaving. Now for those of you who say taking a look at something else is good it is also bad for the game as many just dont want to come back making our community smaller and weaker.
Man dont WoD look like it was don on the cheap in this pic guess those unfinished zone were really missed.
