Is the extra wm on exp buff worth it or should i keep it off while levelling up🤔? What you guys think .
Depends if you are going to quest or not. If you’re just dungeon spamming then no it’s not worth it.

Extra 10%? Course it is but only in open world, it gets switched off in instances.
To get max benefit have the 25% warmode bonus, the 10% from the holiday event, 10% from the celebration quest, 10% from the potion from BfA and unless it gets negated or negates another use the Darkmoon hat for an hour long 10%. So in total you should easily get at least 55% exp boost as long as the holiday lasts.
Combined with chrome time (I always go either WotLK or TBC) and instances, you can get from 1 to 80 in approximately 6 to 7 hours. Even with warmode on you very rarely bump into anyone and even if you do you’re usually way too powerful or they’re too powerful and they’re more interested in levelling than ganking a lvl 11.

I tend not to use it.
It only takes a few occassions of someone seeing an easy ganking to ruin your experience.
There may be certain areas where you’re less likely to run into the opposite faction (WoD have some zones that are faction specific for questing, Shadowmoon Valley and Frostfire) which might be ok. But still probably not.

The warmode bonus gives you 10% but you will need to be lvl 20 and over to activate that.
Warband 25% means grinding 5 characters to 80
This is by far the most oportune moment to do that so the more you crash level the easier it gets.

It can be a bit daunting but good luck to you and keep at it, once you hit a rhythm they soon get to 80. And if you do get ganked in warmode just hang around 5 minutes, they’ll have moved on and you can get back to questing peace. Gankers I usually find have the attention span of a gnat and think it’s funny to kill someone 70 levels lower than them… This usually means they got ganked 5 minutes before so they logged into a high-level toon looking for “revenge”.

From my experience:
Without other 10% buffs WM is worth it - you gain more extra exp than you lose time from being occasionally killed while leveling.
However when you can have an extra 10% buff or even two (from Saturday when you can have both the Hallow’s end and the dark moon one) it’s better to stick to this rather than risk it all for an extra 10% when being killed in PVP will remove the buffs and force you to either continue without them or spend a lot of time getting them back.
Prior to this anniversary, I would go into warmode to level up a character to 70. But at the moment, you can just get the daily buff and just sit there in the caverns of time area and just grind out dungeons, for example.
I always use WM.
Every now and then some nameless kiddo will gank level 72 on his level 80, but it will barely delay you, as respawn takes less than a minute.
Repeated ganking is very hard to pull off due to flying and people simply taking a break for a few minutes, while the poor kid waisting his time watching for respawn.

I always level with it on. You’re very unlikely to come across anyone who would attack you in content prior to TWW zones. Even in TWW zones, most people have warmode on for the extra quests, loot and xp. I rarely get attacked outside of designated PvP zones.
