Another topic where TC wants to see more human form. Maybe in battle too. Because sometimes gear look better on worgen or human. I think that was the meaning of the ability - to use the visual capabilities of both races.
It’s just a flavoured cosmetic. Worgens fight in Worgen form…
If blizzard wanted you to fight in human form they would just give us human druids.
You mean Kul Tirans?
I meant skinny Kul Tirans.
Thats why best class for this race is Warrior (Fury). You cant remain in Human form because of Rage (= Curse) and you can wield two massive weapons because you are a sentient beast that have muscles at muscles.
Instead of allowing you to fight in human form I would buff your racial to make you invisible while activating movement speed boost out of combat
I think Worgen should have a Chicken form to enable them to run away from combat
That’s silly, you can’t be invisible when you move.
I understand people who want to be able to actually use the human form, I really do. But I think it should remain the way it is. As much as I like staying human when I’m in town and don’t want to be the size of a small house, I did pick the race for its “werewolf” form. That’s kind of their whole thing.
My two main reasons for picking worgen:
-
Basically a bloodthristy killing machine
-
Seperate voice acting for human form so I don’t sound american.
Play a Human then
There is an addon to auto toggle Human Form when out of combat, but tbh if you want to be a human in combat then just roll a human.
Rogues?
I already proposed several times that the Two Form ability be toggleable so that you revert to human form automatically when out of combat if you wish so.
There is one inconspicuous guy, called Genn Graymane. Probably heard about him? He can fight in human form. Also there is quest line for two forms ability. Night elves helped worgens to curb rage, so they able to become human again. This is for all the people writing here “worgen fighting in wolf form cause it’s stronger.” And in my opinion taurens are stronger cause the biggest race. At least twice my desire is backed by lore.
Sounds legit.
Mages literally have a spell that makes them invisible, and they can move whilst being invisible, the same with invisibility potions.
That’s not really invisibility, gameplay wise it is for the most part, but you can see them if they are in stealth right in front of you.
I think she was joking about shadowmeld, mate.
Ah, that sort of makes sense, but also not. Since shadowmeld is not a form of invisibility xD
in this game stealth and invisibility seem to be the same. For a while I thought they were the same thing
I thought that too, but one day this happened:
Had me like “Ah. So rogues ARE invisible. Not just hiding around”
Ye, they are very similar now. Stealth is a “weaker” in classic, there are a lot of items that increase stealth level, or for the enemy increase stealth detection. Whilst invisibility is just flat out invisibility.
Everything was made more baseline.
