Work orders and the artisan's consortium

Work orders are not proving to be the hotbed of activity that Blizzard had hoped. I notice that you also get no rep with the artisan’s consortium when using this system, outside of the weekly ‘fulfill 5 work orders’ quest that I’ve heard mentioned. Since they take a cut of the proceeds, this seems a little strange. Maybe giving both the customer and crafter some rep upon completion of a work order would cause this system to be used more?

Not put in a single work order.
It simply did not interest me. I might be alone in this or there may be others.

You can do work orders for your alts. Add rep to it and you can bet your butts I’ll be doing work orders I don’t want to do just for rep.

Arent most of people already exa with that one on their mains?

Also what is even that rep for apart from some knowledge points?

They are actually making a change to the system to spread the availability of work orders around. They will be reducing the amount of Public orders a crafter can make from 20 down to 4.

Although this won’t create more orders. It will mean that players can’t camp the work table and take all the orders.

Also, if you need more Artisan Rep, just get a Contract and go and run a few WQs.

My alt puts in orders for my main for the weekly quest. There are practically no public orders and the system just seems to work for personal orders for those who got in early and skilled/pointed fast
