Hi everyone! I havent really played alot during DF, mostly just been logging on to do some m+ here and there with my friends. So i havent really done any content outside of dungeons.
Is there anything i should do/try out in the world? That is fun to do if you just have some time to kill. It doesnt have to reward me anything or be something to do as a chore. Im just looking to see if there’s any fun engaging world content i should try out (can be from all patches in DF, havent really done anything this expansion). So do you have anything you find fun and engaging that i should try? And if not, its fine to just not answer aswell, im not looking to create a «df sucks» topic

I’m fairly new to DF myself, so at the moment I spent most of time doing these things:
- Planting Seeds in the Dream
- Centaur hunts
- Daily quests
- Collecting resources and fishing coins (Yes, going for Otto)
- Chatting with peeps in cities

How are world quests in DF? I remember enjoying doing wq’s in BFA when i didnt have other things and there was some quest tied to them where you did 4 wq’s and got some extra reward. Also back then some of the wq’s were enjoyable to do. Are wq’s in DF still enjoyable (at least some of them?)?
And whats Otto?
Dragonriding races are pretty fun and fresh.

If you like, or at least don’t mind, dragonriding, then the races are a nice quick source of gold. You get like half a K for the ones that are currently WQs. As for how WQs are in Dragonflight… pretty much how they’ve always been; slightly nerfed (or in some cases with more objectives) versions of regular quests. So it really boils down to whether or not you like regular questing. I’ve always found it interesting that people who whine about world quests usually don’t say anything about regular quests, which they’re mostly a variant of
I really struggle with the more advanced courses
I personally felt wq’s got worse when we went from bfa to sl. But maybe i was just unlucky with the ones i did back then cause i quickly stopped doing them. Like in bfa we had some easy and fun wq’s, like the tortollan ones (yes i know alot of ppl hated them but i enjoyed them) or in that naga zone with those candy crush like wq’s or untangeling lines. Or just jump in a turtle shell and spin to kill all these mobs. Easy and fun. But in SL in turned into like 3 step quests instead so u thought u just had to kill 10 mobs but then it was several steps more after that. At least thats how i remember it
I’ll test out the dragonflying ones

I like the memory matching game. I think I got the majority of my
rep from those. Though the maze was okay too. Drawing circles can go censored itself.
i came back after 9 months and sincerely i found interesting the fishing stuff (wq and others), rift (in theldraszus near valdrakken) and some of the wq in zaralek.
Some people find nice the race quests but arent my cup of tea.
actually i login and do all the weekly stuff (rift, superbloom - bah - zaralek, surge and rare) and some lfr form mog (same for heroic bg).
I would say to ignore forbidden reach cuz the vault is probably the most boring thing i had in years in wow.
just my 2 cents.

I also like the rifts and superblooms (starts every hour, on the hour), though they’re slightly less casual since the success rate is dependant on other people doing them too. The dream surges stack well with other activities in the zone, but aren’t terribly fun to do separately.

“A turtle made it to the wateeer”.I loved that.
Some were better than others but quite enjoyable.I liked the ley lines and candy crush thingy too. There are only like 2 of those hidden now(not sure if they are daily or rather weekly quests though)
And we had a lot of just kill one or two bosses compared to xpacks after.

Snail Racing. %100. One of the most exciting world content they added to the game.

I like those - particularly the wall climbing
I really like those too and am sad they didn’t continue puzzle quests after BFA and a few in SL.
Hated those especially when it said I failed when you could literally see I hadn’t. Or if I had, it was only a very little bit off the line.

Thanks, i’ll check it out!
I’d check out the mogs from world content, some sets are amazing imho. If I have understood correctly, you can still collect LFR and Normal appearances from Aberrus with Rift and Dreamsurge gear but I don’t know the deal there for sure.
Lots of pets and mounts. Cosmetics. Some cool questlines. Secrets of Azeroth, should still be there…? No idea what you are into, but plenty of fun stuff
