World Creature Damage

Seriously, why is it so high?

Normal things do elite levels of damage, I understand that things need to hit harder because we do but this is insane, at this rate you’re going to have to double player health just to be able to quest by yourself and be free of obnoxious grief.

This difficulty would be okay if we had the community of old where people actually stopped to help when they pull mobs on to you or see you struggling, but this isn’t the case here.

Any ideas?

I’ve been really looking forward to P4 but after just 24 hours playing it I’m reminded of why I left during P3. Far too much incoming damage, for too poor a hit rating/weapon skill and hit points to kill more than a few of things at once coupled with running mobs you can’t catch due to dazed spam and an antisocial world environment where people not only refuse to help, but dump their rubbish on to you and laugh.

I’m completely lost as to what to do about it other than to leave like I have done again.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Zone wide buffs you can turn off on yourself?
Phial type things which double your health and reduce damage taken when not in a group?

I don’t know, but I’m not paid to think am I so I’ll leave it here.

Runes too strong so creatures got buffed too. Not ideal but what can Berny do.

Like back in the days… pull carefully, avoid extra adds, be ready to flee or use heal pot or rune bandage if a unplanned respawn is happening.
And prices for consumables have pretty dropped the last few days. Consider to use elixirs while leveling if you struggle.

You think I haven’t already? There’s these things called cooldowns.

It’s not like back in the day at all as I have previously stated.

That’s why I’m asking. In doing this they have created an inferior product that I simply cannot stand to play.

Unless you are a mage or hunter you should never be able to kill more than one or 2 mobs at once without blow CDs in a vanilla environment (If they are around your level ofc), stopping to eat and/or drink between pulls is a part of what makes classic classic.

You forgot demo wl with fel guard, 3 easy, 4-5 with cds :sweat_smile:

But yes every other class is doomed to make single pulls, or maybe 2 at once if they are green difficulty.

Dungeon grind until 60 and then dungeon/raid grind for full gear.

Then kill stuff
