a lot of whitestuff is actualy, you can install addons to see the value on the ah when you hover over the item.
Certainly depends on the item, some of them, yes.
Some of them, no.
Some are barely worth the bagspace until you get to a vendor.
em yeah seems like some of this stuff isnt worth putting on the ah at all most questline quests give better gear
Gear alone isn’t the only thing that’s worth gold tho.
Very rarely will you find a random world drop piece of gear worth anything at all especially outside of epic BoE items.
However some other items can be worth a bit of gold on the AH.
Yeah often you are better off disenchanting the item as mats can be worth more. As I said before, get an addon and scan the ah regularly to see the value of all items. Some gathered mats are pretty valuable too and you pick those up while levelling your skills

I use atlas loot and auctionator. Use the scan function of auctionatir frequently, I have a character parked at auctionhouse to deal with all that

I just use auctionator, but as said above, you need to scan the Auction House often, and set it to display on the tooltip.
Since you are level 18, no, not much worth anything will drop for you while levelling. Even rare quality items (Blues) don’t usually drop until you get into the late 20s and 30s, and they don’t sell for much.

If you want to make gold the only thing I can suggest is to gather mats. maybe one of the manas, on some realms it’s difficult due to the bots.
Just levelling will not get you much gold unless you are incredibly lucky with a random epic drop.
thx i just did what you said, all the disenchant prices came up so i bought some twilight cutlist armour cheap cause it said it de’ed in to 7g but it never de’ed at all ha
The Mats it disenchants into could be worth that, I never use it for that and it’s not 100% accurate.
maybe i need this arcanite rod, gold pearls are 800 g,how many times a day do you scan the ah does iy start bringing percentages up, i think i remember this…once
It gives you the latest prices whenever you scan the AH that’s all, the rod does not affect what you get, you can try and farm gold pearls if you want.
i can remember a auction exten that gave percentages when you started searching items, i used it once…, so how do you go about your scans just scan it oone in the morning then that gives you a fair idea the rest of the day?. I think il just wait it out for the golden pearl, i seen one at 14 gold erarlier and im gutted now i never bought it
Farming gold is easiest on a level 70 char, but those addons are just nice to see the value of the items in your bags so you know what to discard when they are full :). Ore, herbs, cloth and disenchanting mats are the most profitable, but not all of them.
