I’m on Draenor in WM off and I see plenty of people in Dorn.
However if you go out into the old world it’s always quiet. We are sharded with any realm that has players in that zone pretty much. World of Warcraft is just a huge game at this point.
I think this is why they try to funnel new players into DF, that way they have a higher chance of having other players to do the dungeons and content with.
Warmode on and off + layering did that.
WoW used to be nice game where people interacted with eachother.
Now its instanced game where you log out once you kill the raid boss or m+ boss.
Blizzard basically said that wow has 8mil players during DF.If you think classic with like 5 servers has more people playing than retail then ok,ill just laugh to that.At this point it no longer even a debate.
It would be best if we had a toggle (like with war mode) so that we can decide if we want scaling or not.
I‘d like to have scaling when doing some old quests for renown or similar things - so it feels more like actual questing. I‘d like to turn scaling off when gathering old ores - so mobs don’t interrupt me or i can oneshot them.
This would also mean, that we don‘t need or have to decide on different Chromie times for each expansion - when scaling is on, we would automatically be matched to the zone we are in.
Above all I would like the option to lvl my twinks up in old content. Wow is OLD. Over time most of us accumulated a small army of twinks - most just at the max lvl of last expansion. After having leveled up one char to new max lvl (per faction) or maybe after completing the pathfinder, I want to have scaling (or chromie time) reach up to new max lvl.
Does Blizz really think it would be fun to lvl 15+ alts through the same content, over and over and over, and then having this same prospect again for each new expansion?
