World latency issues

So, i play wow since 2004, and even on a 2mbit DSL i never lagged back in the day. Suddenly, since the day of xpacs launch, i update addons every single day. My laptop specs, i9, RTX 4070, 2 tb ssd, 32 gb ram. My home latency is <40 , but world latency is never below 200. I live in Latvia, work in Sweden and visited family in finland since the launch of xpac, its same in 3 countries and on like 5 different isps.

Same problem here. Last few days during afternoons and evening, i’m getting lag spikes in BG’s and Arena, and i’m afraid what happens in raid tomorrow. Normal WORLD latency is 20-40ms, and now it’s spiking to 300-800ms in instanced content mostly.
Home latency is still 20-30ms.

I’m not sure, if that IP is still usable. If anyone has different one, i can try it too, but clearly there is some problem.

Same Issue. Up to TWW launch it was all nice and dandy and since pre-patch, I continuosly have 1-2 min long lagspikes during delves, m+, even counting floor tiles in the city. Suddenly all freezes and 60-120 seconds later you can see rapid replay of all that happened, usually ending with my death when I’m out of town.

In Season 5 in Diablo 4 I had constant DC’s fron bnet if that’s a clue for anyone.

What’s most infuriating is that during those lagspikes, chat is working in real time. I can type with almost real time. I can see all the emotes that happen like boss attacking, etc, but the game itself is just frozen.

I don’t have to mention of course, that all other games, work perfectly fine with no lags or dc’s whatsoever.

I’m way behind with my m+ progress and lost a spot for mythic raiding within my guild until I fix my connection issues and honestly I don’t know what else I can do.

None of the troubleshooting I did from forums, reddit or guildmates helped and net provider said that if there is lag after 10th hop there is little they can do.

Hello,
I’m experiencing issues with high latency as well.

I’m based in Southeast Asia now, and before I had 200 ms - 250 ms ping, which is high but playable.
Last 2 days the world ping is around 1000 - 1200.
Still, I’m facing issues. I’ve tried to resolve this using the steps described in the tech guide on battle net, but nothing really helped.

p.s. Are there servers that show better latency for the Oceania region?
