World MS 1000+ - Unplayable Game

I tried playing the game again today and using an alt in Draenor I got about 20minutes of gameplay at ping of around 500 which is still pretty bad but not the 6000+ that I was getting other days but when I changed characters it all came back and it was unplayable. I tried logging back to the alt but he issue persisted. This issue is clearly affecting numerous people connected specifically to EU zones and the game is unplayable. They tried blaming the cable cutting and I’m not gonna deny that may have been an issue for some players but even people within the EU are having an issue at the moment. Are they going to say they’re working to address the issue or are they going to keep ignoring it? The cable issue is also reported to be fixed as of the 26th of April but the server issues have not changed.

I have also been unable to make any tickets about this issue as every time I click the ‘submit’ button I either get a message saying “An error occured, please try again later” or the submit button turns into a ‘loading circle’ for a small amount of time then nothing happens. I check my ongoing tickets and it says there are no active tickets.

The game currently is unplayable on kazzak eu for me

Logged in onto my shaman to a 2k ping.

The issue seems to be unresolved as of right now and maybe with the server reset something gets done, i have no hopes anymore given the no response from blizz.

Another for the pile. Got bout 20-30 mins playtime, managed to do 3 timewalking dungeons. Then super long load screen and high ms.

If any Blizzard people are reading this, Dracthyr players appear to be causing the lag.
We don’t know why, but whenever a Dracthyr Evoker is nearby or in the party, the ping spikes up to 1000+.

This also happens when playing on Dracthyr Evokers yourself.

To other players experiencing these issues, try playing in areas where there are no Evokers and get back to this thread with findings.

The problem appears to multiply by the number of Evokers, spiking up to tens of thousands of ping.

  • Factory reset my computer
  • Reinstall Windows
  • Reinstall Battle.net
  • Reinstall WoW
  • Use game interface only (no addons)
  • Use 3 different ISPs
  • Contacted 2 ISPs
  • Changed router
  • Changed device
  • Use Ethernet
  • Use Wi-Fi
  • Use 2 different 4G providers
  • Use VPN (tried more than 20 routes)
  • Remove all security app
  • All drivers are updated
  • ipconfig release/renew + flush DNS
  • Disabled any proxy (they were none enabled)
  • LAN settings
  • Optimize Network for Speed on and off
  • Hardware acceleration on and off
  • ipv6 on and off

Absolutely 100% of all the other games and apps I use are working perfectly fine. Most of those games I play on Europe server. My internet connection is among the best in the world.

Somehow Blizzard will never admit that there MIGHT be an issue on their side.

After 12 days, we only got empty answers on this thread to fake a presence every 3-5 days. I have never came across such a poor client service! Please wake up, your clients are facing an issue that prevents them from playing the game they pay for.

Same for me. Playing from Singapore on EU servers. 2000+ms since April 16th precisely. Never had any problems before.

Don’t think evoker is causing this ive been getting this lag on arena playing my druid/shaman with 0 evokers present.

And yeah ive tried everything including changing my isp, the lag is still present

In any other games that i play like Rocket League, CS, Planetside2 and other multiplayer games that i play i barely go above 50 ping, wow is stuck to 300 to 10k for the last week ever since thursday, losing hope at this point honestly with the lack of responses from blues here :confused:

This just hit me today. VPNing all over the place seems to make no difference. Game is unplayable.

(EDIT: Found a VPN location that worked, or seemed to. Who knows
Better now anyway.)

Been doing testing for 2 days, and it all points towards Evokers.
I can’t speak for PvP, I don’t do pvp.

We had a good session yesterday with barely any lag at all, by avoiding playing with evokers. So it’s pretty much confirmed now.

Your issue may be unrelated.

I believe that your issue may be unrelated. Ping is here without evokers around.

Like the game lags the same way for people on classic / wtlk so yeah, its not evokers causing it.

No answer from Blizzard engineers, what is going on , literally im paying for nothing the subscription, my ticket got closed no explanation after the auto bot message.

Can anyone assist us with this problem , been 2 weeks and nobody from blizzard gives 2 cents

i tried playing on the us server instead. i have 215 latency there.
how come the eu server gives me 1000ms or more?

Different servers, different routes to go to those servers. Try EU Classic / Cata you’ll get different results as well.

Sme here since season 4 almost. Alredy tried all, updates, cleaning erase interfase and cache etc etc etc. I’m playing from Barcelona. Doing fated raids has been a nightmare

Does blizzard has no employees to verify the situation , check the route from their side as many people here already confirmed that ASIA connecting to EU has big issues, but only in WoW no other games has this problem. I understand that servers from Blizzard might take the Singapore to EU route but can’t the route be changed in a way that will not affect us.

@Yryadorne did you follow-up to someone from IT team to verify this? What is the answer? Our tickets get closed instant with no answer.

OFFTOPIC: at the company i work for , no client waits for 2 weeks answer, maximum 2-3 days in peak season. Not to mention here the AI system for solving ticket is HORRIBLE - update it , remove it, do something so it doesn’t close the tickets without the issue not being solved.

Long time ago i used to like the GM ticketing, actually humans contacting you ingame.
