World of DragonKart - Let us race Jaina

This thread is about my idea for content in the Dragonflight 1.0 or 2.0 patch:

In the new expansion Blizzard have added Dragonflight, where you fly around on your dragon. They have also added time-trials for this. Where you race for ´´medals´´. You can see the content in question in the video below.

The time trials for Dragonflight are already an incredibly good idea, probably some of the best casual content Blizzard has come up with for many years.

But here is an addition: Let us race famous WoW characters like Jaina, Khadger or even someone like Wrathion for cool Dragon custimization rewards. Would be like Crash Bandicoot racing / Diddykong racing, except with WoW characters. Would also be cool evergreen content that could be enjoyed for the remainder of Warcraft´s life.

This looks quite neat, not gonna lie.

However I do hope they give the dragon riding skill bar a different UI. Maybe using the vehicle UI would be better. It looks kinda strange like that. Still good tho

WoW’s open world needs a lot more stuff if you ask me. Blizzard should see what ff14 and gw2 do good because they have one of the best casual content. For example Chocobo Racing (FF14) and Roller Beetle Racing (gw2) are awesome. The dragon racing in Dragonflight looks is a good start.

This is what we need. Just for dragonflying.

Think it might be too complex for the WoW engine, but attack items could be pretty cool.

Great idea!! Use any ground mount in your collection, get various power ups. Would love to transform into the Ironforge Tram and steam through tje course, battering everyone outta the way
