World Of Warcraft 2 Concept

WoW 2

Description:

World of Warcraft 2 delves into a distant past, unveiling a world teeming with primitive civilizations and untamed magic. Set 10,000-9,000 years before the modern era, the game unfolds in the Eastern Kingdom, where humanity has just established its foothold. This epoch showcases a humanity defined by its primal nature, guided by rudimentary belief systems that intertwine with the raw forces of nature. Magic, in its rawest form, weaves through their existence, giving rise to the emergence of crude druidic practices and shamanistic rituals.

In this primitive age, humans find themselves locked in fierce conflicts with the trolls, setting the stage for an epic clash between civilizations. As players navigate this ancient world, they will witness the struggle for survival and dominance amidst the unexplored landscapes of Azeroth.

The humans have forged a distinct spiritual path that diverges from the traditional devotion to the Light. Instead of serving a singular divine force, these ancient humans have embraced a profound connection with nature and the spirits that inhabit the primordial world.

Playable Classes:

  • Barbarian: Formerly known as the Warrior class, these fierce fighters embody the primal spirit of early humans. Armed with raw strength and untamed ferocity, Barbarians engage in brutal melee combat, forging their path through the challenges of a world in its infancy.

  • Primalist: The Shaman class takes on a new identity as Primalists, tapping into the raw, unrefined powers of nature. With a connection to the elements that is as untamed as the world around them, Primalists harness the forces of earth, wind, fire, and water to protect their tribes and conquer their adversaries.

  • Druid: While retaining its name, the Druid class reflects a more primitive form of nature magic. These early druids commune with the spirits of the land, embodying the essence of the untamed wilderness. Shaping into creatures of the wild and wielding nature’s wrath, Druids play a pivotal role in the balance of the ancient world.

  • Hunter: The Hunter class embodies the primal instincts and survival skills essential for thriving in the untamed wilderness. These skilled stalkers serve as scouts, hunters, and protectors of their tribes, mastering the art of tracking, archery, and animal companionship.

Both factions will have thier unique set of classes, they´re essentionally the same classes however they will have different summons and effect from thier spells and go by different names, for example Primalist for a troll will be Voodoomancer/Witch doctor, Shadowhunter etc.

Playable Races:

There will be 3 different type of humans, with unique looks and coming from 3 different tribes and unique set of racials that applies to them. Each human race will also have thier own starting zone.

For the Troll faction there will be

The Amani

Ice trolls

Zandalari

The Trolls: On the opposing side of this primeval conflict stand the trolls, a formidable and mysterious faction. Hailing from the shadows of forgotten lands, the trolls bring with them a dark and mystical lore. Masters of voodoo and ancient mysticism, the trolls seek to protect their ancient territories from the encroachment of the burgeoning human civilizations.

With classes such as the Witchdoctor, who delves into the darker aspects of magic, and the Voodoomancer, wielding the powers of ancient voodoo, the trolls present a unique and captivating challenge for players. As the story unfolds, players will discover the rich tapestry of the trolls’ history, their mystical connection to the land, and the reasons behind their adversarial stance against the emerging human tribes. The clash of these two primal civilizations forms the epic narrative core of World of Warcraft 2, inviting players to explore a world shrouded in the mists of time.

Conclusion: It’s a fun concept I thought of and wanted to throw out there for discussion. I know people can get pretty passionate about ideas, everyone’s entitled to their own thoughts. but let’s keep it light and friendly.

‘’ Everyone seeing this thread ‘’ Don’t take it too seriously… Don’t do it! Don’t do it. Don’t do it just an interesting fun idea. Doooon’t do it! I can be fun too! I can do this!

In my ideal the one WoW2 Skullfox has in his head. Every current playable race would be included in wow2. Excluding some of them and bringing in others would cause distaste for Blizzard and loose them allot of potential wow2 players.

People who play the various Horde races wouldn’t suddenly be into the troll race/class fantasy tomorrow coming with wow 2.

WoW 2 would have a bit of a time skip in my mind. I’m imagining 300-600 years into the future Azeroth from the current one we have now.

How our conflicts ended? How our cities and nations faired? How our favorite characters lived and survived after our wow? Would be WoW lore about the past.

With a time skip 300-600 years into the future like I want xD its impossible to predict the landscape of things and what things will be alike after all that time unless you where Blizzard making that new lore.

But it would be really good if you where Blizzard and wanted to draw and make new lore for our current existing races…

Wow2 would of course feature allot of our current lands and zones from Azeroth but with graphics worthy of the 2020’s All our 2d armor and tiers sets will be 3d and detailed. And the nature around Azeroth would be upgraded too. Our sky boxes would have much more high graphic clouds and weather changes. And our night sky would look like actual stars. :innocent:

I don’t think wow2 would launch with our entire current Azeroth world map either… I think we would unlock them as the story progressed.

But the zones would be much greater and bigger in scale and higher graphics than what we have now.

I think the races are a little too same-y. Could have used more diverse stuff, it’s wow after all

Like Skullfox have said, removing 90% of playable races and classes will not go well with the community.

It might work if it’s not labelled as a wow replacement basically. Could be a side thing orr a new genre or so. I think that’d make it more acceptable

I think it was diversity that ruined wow, now every race can pretty much be any class. It destroyed the uniqueness of each race. I imagine the player can expand more upon each class of those that I mentioned, more so than current wow.

Why would the focus be on trolls and humans tho? The timeline you gave pretty much is around the time of the sundering and the war of the ancients. Instead of trolls and humans partying it would be a better theme for night elves and highborne and other races to deal with the fall out of the gigantic explosion wich nearly destroyed the world.

Why focus on humans and trolls ina night elf dominated time

The humans were enemies of both the Trolls and the Kaldorei in that era. The other faction could very well be the Kaldorei. Nontheless It whould be interesting to see them as an opposing faction, as we are used today seeing them as allies.

Yeah but for a game wise that seems like a very unimportant part of history we’d be visiting. Especially since the war of the ancients happened just before this.

Seems like a far more interesting story to me

Why i picked that era of 10,000 or after the war of the ancient was because blizzard whould have the ability build upon it, we allready have a good idea of what happens in war of the ancients, so no point in reliving it if we know what enemies we may encounter etc.

And personally im tired of fighting the burning legion.

Humans didn’t exist 9000 years ago?

And, well, Blizzard already showed what they can do with unasked-for sequels. Overwatch 2, Diablo 4, Warcraft 3 Reforged weren’t exactly booming successes. I don’t think Blizzard still has it in them to attempt something as big as WoW 2. They could still recuperate, though, at one point in the future, but I hope they’d just stick to WoW as it is.

Humans settled on Eastern Kingdom about 15 000 years ago, before that they were Vrykul.

If there ever is WoW 2 I wish it takes place in the past and not the future.

You are correct about that part and I am wrong. I remember they founded their kingdoms three thousands years ago, but the descendance itself came earlier.

While I still don’t want to see any WoW 2 too soon because it will inevitably ruin Blizzard’s last surviving franchise, will 100% under deliver and will end up with cruel memes and “overwhelmingly negative” review score, if it was to happen, your idea of going back in time sounds the best!
