Here we are again. Due to unfortunate circumstances I am one more looking for a player who might join our merry crew. So what is it all about? Read down below.
Much of my free time is dedicated to being a Game Master, running RPG campaigns for over three years by now, usually setting my games on Azeroth and seeing how giving players freedom to interact with a story could influence it. Spoilers… things change. A lot. For example due to player actions Varian survived Broken Shore here…
And now I find myself looking for one poor unfortunate soul to join one of my campaigns and since I am posting adds for this campaign in so many places, I’ve decided I might as well do it here too.
When: The campaign is played weekly on Saturdays from 3:30 PM of GMT+1 to 6:30 PM. Or 2022-03-05T14:30:00Z
How: We play using a Foundry Virtual Tabletop and Discord for Voice Chat. Cams aren’t necessary, just a decent mic and preferably headsets to not have an echo.
System: The system we are using is called Genesys. It is relatively niche system but one that I’ve adapted to Azeroth’s setting quiet nicely. It is a narrative heavy system that gives a lot of freedom to the players both in how the characters are built and what they can achieve in the world.
I would also like to mention really sweet rules for Social encounters.
About the Game
So with the somewhat boring but still necessary details out of the way, time for more interesting part. What is this game about?
As name would imply, it is set during the somewhat recent events of the last invasion of the Burning Legion, where Players and their characters are thrown right into the heart of the war against the Demons and various other conflicts that accompanied it. The characters will have to rise up to the challenge and see where the road takes them…
The campaign will be heroic and centred on the main events of the story, so one can expect that sooner or later you will be facing Gul’dan in person, alongside other more or less mundane threats of the living world. The group is currently comprised of
- Gilnean Druidess who acts as main healer.
- Quel’dorei Mage who sometimes spreads her wings in a bit literal sense.
- Draenei Vindicator purging the filth of the demons with Holy Fire.
- Kaldorei Demon Hunter… of very dubious skills. Though the character will be leaving somewhat shortly and players Death Knight will join right back.
