Does it? What about the runs where he didn’t finish the dungeon because someone else left and the remainder of the group couldn’t 4-man it? I’ve had days where more than 50% of they keys I’ve attempted have been like that.
I should add, I don’t actually mind because there comes a point (in push keys) where there’s no point in continuing because we’re not going to time it and we get nothing for completion. That’s the point where we all release after a wipe, and everyone stands at the spawn point and waits for someone else to turn for the exit. What should happen then? We all get flagged for an uncompleted run because we made a mutual decision to abandon?
That s why i said in my later post that only the first leaver should get a negative score and the other 4 should not have their scores changed.
In those rare occasions where all 5 players want an exit they could simply put a vote in the game. And if all 5 players vote yes the score remains like it is.
Would be abused cause it requieres an honor system in an online game.
For example the leader lists the key as a “push key” in the title which means that if the key is not going to be timed, it will not be continued.
But then when the key eventually gets bricked and everyone in the group is looking around at eachother and is ready to leave the keyholder is holding out on their vote to disband the key which makes it so that if they were to leave all their scores would be reduced because Ta-daa, the leader lied about it being a push key in order to attract more applicants.
Alternatively, they could just leave it as it is, and people could use their initiative when making a group, and take a quick look at applicants’ RIO page on the WEBSITE. It’s easy enough to see someone who has no (or very few) runs completed over time, which is a near certainty that they’re the first to leave at the sign of problems. I do this all the time, and I can count the number of people who have left MY keys in DF on the fingers of one hand.
