World of Warcraft with Windows 11 HDR

Hey guys,

I got a new monitor with some HDR capabilities (Alienware AW2723DF with HDR 600) and I quite like how WoW looks with the windows-enabled HDR. Sometimes it even looks amazing.

I have one question though - are there any tips/tricks/ideas how to make the bright UI elements (f.e. nameplates) not “glow”. Since WoW itself does not support HDR internally, Windows just flares up bright objects on the screen, and some of these happen to be part of the UI. Ideally only the world should have HDR applied.

Have you tried adjusting the gamma/brightness/contrast on the ingame settings?
