What is one zone in the whole game that you think are beautiful enough to be your wallpaper? (Can be both vanilla zones and retail zones)

For me I have always loved the Vanilla Hillsbrad foothills.

Suramar, easily. There’s absolutely zero competition. I love that entire zone and the city especially

Difficult to pick one when there are so many great options… I would probably rotate between:

  • Pre-Cataclysm Ashenvale
  • Netherstorm with Kirin’var Village in the foreground
  • The floating Alliance tower north of the Dark Portal in Hellfire Peninsuela
  • Crystalsong
  • Shadowmoon Valley (Draneor)
  • Drustvar

I agree with Draenor Shadowmoon Valley. Nagrand is a winner too.

Also even though I didn’t play MoP I find Kun-Lai Summit especially beautiful. I find myself in Pandaria, looking for an excuse to be there. The snowy mountains, monasteries, there’s a certain vibe that I find really unique in the entire WoW universe.

I like peaceful atmospheric zones.

From a nostalgic point of view, I have fond memories of Outland, especially Zangarmarsh. I also spend time in Stormpeaks. Snow is awesome.

The grove in jade forest (dont remember the name) where are the serpent riders.
Old Nagrand, old ashenvale, Draenor shadowmoon and Stormsong valley.

If not Stormsong Valley, probably Jade Forest (before Sha). But I like Revendreth’s style SO MUCH and it may take the place as well.

I really love the Tanaris beach. The water is a beautiful colour and the music is so soothing. Bit spoilt by Goblins, though…

Alas old zones are outdated in graphics so have to pick something relatively modern. I think the Night Fae land is beautiful but it also burns my eyes out my sockets. Hmm I don’t know, I’m very indecisive.

I love the underwater zones!

When it comes to beauty, Vash’jir was amazing, and there are some areas in BfA as well.
