For those of you who can’t fight fair. A big crowd against one.
Yes. There’s a term in psychology circles. “Crowd psychology”.
Blizzard, stop feeding our natural instincts.
The World has changed.
What do you think?
PvP was never fair tbh, always high lvls ganking low ones, ppl ganging on 1 person and what not, and tbh it is a rare thing when you can do 1vs1 in open world pvp.
yeah, exactly what I’m talking about. Why don’t you go to an arena or BG? Why if you’re one by one waiting for rare mob to respawn, you never fight till someone ‘yours’ comes around and you’re suddenly getting brave enough to fight?
That’s the whole point of consumerism, unfortunately.
I’ve been playing this game for 14 years, today is the anniversary of me starting and I have never seen a fair World PvP fight.
Congratz, here’s your cookie
Dunno how bad WM on Nazjatar or Mechagon is but the whole point is to gank and get ganked. It was never supposed to be fair, just kill, flee or get killed.
If you can’t stand it then turn it off, don’t poison your gameplay with a World PvP experience you don’t seem to appreciate for the sake of an unoticiable +10% azerite and gold bonus.
WM is where i had the most fun in BFA, like when you call for help against an assassin and its party, create your own, die outnumbered a few times until you find the fight you needed, chain them until all your party has the assassin buff and finaly die trying to get the assassin title.
Keep calm.
That’s not the point. I’m curious how people behaviour.
I had the most epic escape today.
A dh and a holy paladin chasing me around rocks, me blinking (and healing), , polymorphing paladin, freezing dh, using speed potion and run after but they caught up, going invis and changing direction which threw them off for about 5 secs until the dh remembered spectral sight.
I run some more, find what i thought is a tunnel, but was really a cave, them in hot pursuit, followers and all! I quickly decide this will be my stand, when they come i pop everything, almost kill the dh, paladin bubbles from sheep and saves him.
But the cornered animal mode stopped them for just enough for me to use the time for a double blink away!
Then another rinse and repeat of chasing around rocks, i see a horde druid doing something in some lake…i barely manage to write “help” because i had to press buttons all the time, guy just dissappeared…
That was a real letdown, until i remembered the water!
And omg i had the greatest thought ever, what if the water is deep enough for them to not be able chase me??? I don’t need to breathe after all!
So, in i go, swimming down about 20-30 human meters (i suppose, i swam for a good few seconds and blinked twice downwards) until it got real tight at the bottom and i had to kill all the fish so they don’t harm me enough i couldn’t get back up if those two decided to swim after me. I tried swimming to the other end of this water, but they followed me on the shore and blocked my exit.
At that point i knew the only escape would be through portal or whistle.
So, fish gone, i check focus frame, paladin still has me on target, i look up and i see them on the shore lmao. But at that moment combat finally dropped off and i started clicking the whistle, which somehow works underwater too, am thankful for this oversight!
Whistle goes off, i do /lol emote at paladin and then the screen went black as i was teleported away.
That’s why the alliance never wins PvP, never do good in raiding, never do anything.
You guys just give up, i got ran on by 3 alliance trucks while coming to Nazjatar i still have WM on.
The Alliance could easely be in the top 5 of the 1st Mythic guild if they stopped complaining about how a 1% buff to their DPS makes the game Horde Bias.
Oh, I see a finished script! Gotta call Hollywood
eh…that really happened.
It’s not about me, definitely. haha
Of course it is, you talk of being a coward, but what is the worst.
Decide to not fight at all
Or fight even if you know you’ll be overrun.
Thiiiisss…
Two characters to 60 on vanilla PvP servers. WPvP was never, ever about fairness or honour. It was only ever about getting shot/stabbed in the back right as you accidentally pull a 2nd basilisk.
Which is one reason I don’t have the achievement for turning WM on. Had quite enough of that nonsense when I was young enough that words like ‘stress headache’ and ‘rising blood pressure’ meant nothing to me
There are causes worth dying for, and there are hopeless endeavours worth getting peeved off while attempting.
WoW is neither of these things.
It’s not cowardly to say “I’m not enjoying this vidja game” and change an option to make it more fun.
I didn’t bought up cowardness, OP did though.
OP is referring to behaviour among players with WM enabled, (correctly) observing that there is no such thing as a fair fight.
You seem to be comparing people with WM to people with WM off (not fighting at all). It’s not cowardly to say “this isn’t the setting I want in the game I play”.
Maybe I read it wrong, in which case, nevermind
I see your point you make sense, maybe i was the one who read it wrong then.
I love to gank lowbies feels so good knowing they’re getting pissed off at being corpse camped everyone who whines about wpvp should stop being a pleb and man up lmfoa
I remember spending hours terrorizing westfall with one of my rogues those were the times (before the stupid warmode
)
I had similar situations for two days straight, I must say I’ve never had so much fun in world PvP, using literally everything I have on me and in my bags (disc priest engineer).
And I’m not saying this as a “majority horde lal”, I’ve had my share of ganks, fair and unfair fights on both sides.
